Amazing service right in the doorsThe waitress told us we just missed the rush. We arrived around 3pm.We ordered blintzes, 2 egg salad sandwiches, fried pickle spears, pickled green tomatoes, and latkes.Everything came super quick. The food is hot, home cooking that is simple and fresh. Prices are great.Clean mom and pops restaurant with some parking out front.Our new favorite deli.
Very tasty corned beef sandwich. I wish the combo came with salad instead of fries but their coleslaw was really good. Solid 5 stars for sure.
This is easy. Simply the best old fashioned style Toronto Deli. It might in fact be the only one left so we only hope it never closes. Outstanding corned beef and pastrami. Best kishka with a mouthwatering gravy! Love the cabbage borscht too. It’s a Toronto icon.
Excellent food! Had the pastrami sandwich with onion rings and they were fantastic, highly recommend! The service was personable and fantastic as well, we will definitely be coming back again!
Went on a Saturday and was seated right away. The waitress Michelle was outstanding, very polite and friendly. Got the Corn Beef Lean Combo. It was served quick and fresh. Fries crispy, but not greasy and I could barely fit my mouth around the sandwich. Still a very good place to get authentic Deli Corn Beef. Will be back
Delicious jewish style diner. Came here to pick up some goodies for our trip back home.Service: FANTASTIC ! Very nice and caring staff helped us pick out everything with ease super caring !We picked up some chop liver, sliced tongue(salami style) and a couple of kishkasIt’s a nice family run business and we love supporting local restos. We were recommended by this place and apparently they’re very well known.They did not disappoint! The Beef tongue was amazing super fresh and delicious.The kishka was delicious and fresh.The chop liver was absolutely mouthwatering almost as good as how my bubby use to make it.The food and service Top notch.. it’s pretty pricey but it’s worth every penny and it’s a treat.If you’re in the are and looking to get traditional jewish/kosher style delicatessen you have to try this place no doubt.Cheers!

Order ahead and be prepared for little to no parking. After that warning, it will well be worth your efforts. Ordered roast beef on onion bun combo and a pastrami on rye combo. Huge pile of juicy and flavourful meat. Yes, lots of meat. Huge portion of thick-cut fries. The coleslaw was not the typical sour vinegary kind, it was fresh and almost sweet. Not a fan of pickles, but the half spear was crunchy, not soggy and full of flavour. Definitely will return.
