Exceptional fogato, great service by Derek, background music at comfortable level
Service was very attentive. Dishes were brought out by several staffers, on time and hot. Food was very good - appetizers - mushroom calamari and Octopus (special) - presentation was great and octopus was perfectly done. For Entrees, Funghi and Calabrese pizzas and Fettuccini Funghi pasta was excellent. Pasta was cooked perfectly (al dente), sauce was great, light on creme (which was perfect for me) so you can taste the mushroom. Just enough salt to bring out the taste. Had a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc - quite good. No dessert. I understood that the long standing manager has left and some staff departures and that Paese may be falling out of favour by the locals. I've been there many times and I experienced absolutely nothing that would tell me the service nor food has been sub-standard or compromised because of these changes. Will certainly return.
Great location, great outdoor and indoor dining. First wine corkage is free on M-F and Sunday. Food is reasonably priced and with good portion. Service is good as well. Recommended
Always outstanding every visit!! The Funghi âCalamariâ are to die for! The mushroom fettuccine, the gnocchi with sweet potato, and Butternut ravioli are all excellent!
As usual this is a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Custom built patio , very nice but unfortunately still get noise from traffic. Service impeccable, food excellent. Little rushed to start between appetizer and mains. Waiter removed wine list from table without even asking if we wanted any.

Not as good as usual. Something seemed off. The freezing cold burrata was not appetizing.
Delicious food in a relaxed environment with just right service. Paese is now our first choice Italian restaurant.
Staff was extremely attentive to allergy requests and were very polite as well as a joy to be around/served by.
