More than anything we were happy to find a noodle restaurant serving halal meats. The noodles are hand pulled right in front of you which is pretty cool. We tried the traditional Lanzhou and Braised Beef noodle soups. Both were great but the Braised beef was our fave; the meat was tender and really tasty. Both soups would be better if they came with more toppings though. Overall this is a great spot when you need the comfort of a good bowl of noodles.
A great spot for noodles on the north york area!Their second location and this is just so awesome that it’s right by where I work so I can come any time! The noodles are nice and chewy but not too chewy. The meat is perfectly tender and so nice inside the bowl of clean broth! And makes for a great visit on those chillier days or nights! They also have many options available for noodles and spice which is always nice when you go to a noodle shop!Service was decent and didn’t have any negative experiences which is always good!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!
Ordered the braised beef, sesame chicken noodle and cucumber salad. My first time here I had a great experience. The service was terrible but the food was good. It was dine-in, the braised beef and salad was fresh and made well. The waiter wasn’t very pleasant, and did not greet us when we entered. Also Unfortunately they charged me for a take out container (I believe $2) without telling me in advance when I asked for it and their staff member argued with me when I asked what charge written in a different language on my reciept was for, rudely exclaiming “hey this isn’t my problem it’s my manager you can ask him it’s not me”. Seems to me many patrons are confused by this charge so the staff member is fed up with explaining. I was with a guest and he embarrassed me with his reaction. This time I am disappointed with the food AND the service . The staff member on the phone was rushing me immensely to order as they were closing in 20 minutes. If they knew they could not provide a quality dish, they should have told me they cannot accept my order. When we arrived for pick up, they were still open as 2 people were dining in. My husband confirmed with the lady that our order was shrimp noodles and she told him yes... but that’s another issue beyond my major point. The chicken was not fresh, we picked up within 10 minutes or ordering. The skin is mush, and it has that gross flavour chicken gets when it is not fresh. The sesame paste in the noodles was very strong and the noodles were very difficult to eat. The salad was also under seasoned and very obviously rushed. It’s too bad, but we likely would not return to this location again.
Very enjoyable hand pulled noodles! I love that you can watch them pull the noodles right in front of you. This place is located right on Yonge Street in the Shepard Centre so it is easily accessible by transit or on food. Driving would require some paid underground parking.Since I don’t eat meat, I only really had one soup option on the menu to try. The broth was quite delicious and I enjoyed the thick flat noodles. I’d love to see some more vegetarian options but I know that probably won’t happen as this is a small restaurant.Worth a visit if you like noodles.
I’ve previously been to their other location at Victoria Park and Sheppard. I love their hand pulled traditional noodles. Their staff is friendly and the food they serve is halal! This place is smaller than their other location and has a less extensive menu but it’s at a great location and the taste is good.
Stopped by for their soft opening to grab some takeout. Service was quick and friendly. I opted for the Soybean Minced Beef Hand Pulled Noodles. They were ready in less than 10 minutes, the toppings were fresh as were the noodles that were pulled right in front of you as you waited. The portion was very generous and super tasty. Can't wait to come back for more!
New location opening soon. The original location on Consumers Rd, Toronto makes great hand pulled noodles from China. Great variety of classic Chinese noodle dishes. They just had a soft opening. Grand opening should be very soon at Yonge Sheppard center with much anticipation.
I love this noodle soup (OMNI PALACE)The noodles were just super chewy delicious yummy :-).Their bowl is super big that it is suitable for two persons. We had the braised beef noodles; you can also ask them to add extra meat; you need to pay extra. It was excellent! The Sesame Pasta Chicken Noodles was also yummy. I would love to go back there again and eat their fresh noodles.
Really tasty eats, plus it's super fast and affordable! Each main is about $12-14 and a fair sized portion, plus it all comes with freshly hand pulled noodles!
Delicious hand pulled noodles! Loved their noodles since their first Scarborough location. Really liked the traditional beef noodle soup, braised beef noodles and scallion oil shrimp noodles! Chili chicken was just ok.. I personally would not get it again but shredded potatoes were good
