This place is fantastic! We had the Shwarma Wrap and the Wazeri Kebob Platter. Both were AMAZING!! The meat was so tender and flavourful and the sauces are so yummy. I think it's a husband and wife team working the counter/grill while their children sat in a nearby booth. So sweet. Support local business. We are definitely adding this to our take out repertoire!
Ver delicious middle eastern food, family friendly restuarant and the place is always clean. I have been a customer since 2016. Very friendly and respectful staff and owner. One thing needs changing is their menu boards as there are few items that are no longer available.
The customer service here is very rude. My wife and I went here, I stayed in the car, my wife went inside to get food, she came out so upset, saying they had been very rude to her and served every man who walked in the door and left her standing there and not taking her order. I got angry and wanted to go inside and tell them what I thought about how they treat women, but my wife said no lets just leave. As we were talking on the sidewalk outside another lady overheard us and she said "I too have experienced the same rude behaviour from the employees there, and being treated badly as a woman, but every time my husband goes in there he gets treated fine...they have bad attitudes toward women in there". I will never buy stuff from a business who treats women like that.

Solid consistent option for middle eastern food in North York. Juicy beef kebabs and the chicken tikka was even better! Very high quality meat prepared fresh in front of you. The rice is just plain (not seasoned) which is okay, it's still fresh and goes well with the kebabs. Prices are average, not too high or low. $10-$15 for kebab dinners and $7-$10 for shawarmas. I recommend anyone looking for Afghani/Middle Eastern food to check out Mumtaz! Will definitely be back again

They would have got my 5 stars. But I rated 2, because it seems not so clean. I found a hair in the salad. It was pretty good and tasty earlier. After saw the hair, just feel I little disgusted. The food tastes good indeed!
