June 2022-Under new management about a month+ now.Amazing food and great service.Jerk chicken was tasty and moist, rice and peas perfect. Stew chicken was flavourful and tasty.Soup was well seasoned and hit the spot. Coleslaw was fresh and tasty. Good value for money.A big thanks to the team that’s cooking and the new owners.
Was treated in a disgusting way here recently. This is a takeout establishment. I was the only individual in the place and the owner asked for my vaccine passport to order takeout? He then guided me outside saying he has to protect his customers, meanwhile it was empty. I have never been treated that poorly ever. Will never return.
Good food, need to add white chicken meat to their menu. I am sitting outside the restaurant, its now 12:31 pm and the restaurant is still closed. Sad ... sad... sad... poor management skills. I counted 12 customers that has come and left. Please step up your game....be proficient and professional...
Really disappointed at the Wilson and keele location, once I went on my lunch break and besides the fact I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food while no one was even in the store, I ended up getting it and the chicken was really dry, I went in today for what is probably the last time snd the lady lied saying the only size they had was a small and then corrected it to a large after I told her to make it (I understand this is a mistake and could happen) but the fact the chicken was really dry twice was double the disappointment
Expensive. You can get great Jamaican food just down the road on Jane and Lawrence for half the price. You're paying to cover their rent in that plaza.
Jerk pork rice and peas with oxtail gravy. Best I've had in a long time
Love the jerk pork with oxtail gravy here.. apparently everyone else does too as there is often a line-up. Sometimes they have the jerk pork ready a bit later than when they open. So I would go an hour after they open to avoid the jerk pork wait.
The food is great but not the service. The store only allows 2 people at a time inside. Considering that the winter months are upon us, there really should be a sign by the window. Letting people who are standing outside know when the Jerk Chicken or Pork is sold out. Be considerate.
This is a takeout restaurant, you shouldn't be asking for a vaccine passport. This is discriminatory and very disappointing. I definitely won't be coming here again.
Garbage Service! Horrible customer service. The food is dry and tasteless. I do NOT recommend to anyone looking for carribean food. Must better food elsewhere!
