This joint provides real good Sri Lankan food. The taste is good. The chef opens the kitcken around 6PM so don't be deceived anout the times in google. Overall food meets expectations and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. This place is not the cheapest Sri Lankan food place in toronto.Kottu: this gives authentic Sri Lankan kottu vibes making most of the other joints around toronto sub par. They have chicken, mutton, and other options as well. 5 starsString hopper kottu: ordinary and nothing special about them. 3 starsFried rice: One of the best Sri Lankan fried rice in Toronto. The chicken and eggs are generously added. This gets 5 stars.Short eats: Samosa and rolls are ok but I have had better in Toronto so not really good. 2 stars.The overall 3 stars are due to waiting time. Your order will take minimum an hour feom the time you pay. You can order in advance but the phone is not always answered. I believe this is due to the fact that it is a single person run shop. He does everything.Cleanliness is not so good but not bad either.
I’m typing this review while I’m standing infront of this store . I drove an hour away to come to this location and I get here only to find out that the store is closed from days so and so. Could the owners not update on google or on their website? Beyond disappointed. I don’t even think I’d give a this place second chance.
Good tasty foods they have...❤ And reasonable price and get your lunch and dinner from here that have spicy food as well.
Over priced menu. The menu that they have here is “10 years old” as they claimed. Don’t accept credit and there’s a charge on debit for 25 cents. Food quality is okay but the kitchen looks unhygienic.
This is my honest review guys . I ordered dosa , tandoori chicken and chicken curry . They dosa was extremely oily and very hard . Tandoori chicken had too much food colour and side taste good at all . Really felt sad after I brought it .
Tasty food and good portion size?
Took forever to prepare the order. When we received it one item was MISSING!!! The food was HORRIBlE! Please don't waste your money!
Closed when says open, owner didn’t pick up any calls for orders. Quite disappointed to have driven here for 45 mins

Their food is fresh and delicious. They also have a variety of items available. Huge portion size! You might have to wait a bit too long once you order the food but it's totally worth waiting.
