Would run over to this little spot at lunch everyday if I could. Fresh food, well priced and delicious no matter what you try. Lovely family runs the place. Lots of Eastern food types are made here but their SUSHI is my favourite. Daily specials are terrific too

Its our 1st time to try this area 2437 finch ave west. The food was so good but i'm so disappointed with the man whom assist us for the tips because when we pay he doesn't explain that we need to press the custom for the tip. And he said if we have problem to give tip better to order take away not to dine-in. What kind of waiter he is?!its a matter of racism . We ate in so many restaurant and never happened that we don't give tip. Hope that you explain to the customer what to do so that we understand. Your so rude and no manners.
A place with complete Korean vibe. ? Tried Korean food for the first time here! Really liked it! Plus everyone is so friendly and kind. Thank you for your efforts to make such good dishes. ✨
No physical menu and no lunch specials that I saw... But the quality is undeniably good.
The food here was better than expected. The restaurant itself was small but also cozy, with comfortable booths. The beef bulgogi bibimbap and malado sushi roll were both satisfying. The Korean side dishes were pretty standard. I was a bit disappointed that the yuk jae jang (soup) was just ok - I found that it lacked flavour compared to other places, on top of the beef being rubbery/ overcooked. It also would have been nice to be served some more tea / given a tea pot for self serve refills, as the tea was quite good in the tiny tea cups. As it's difficult to find good sushi places in the North West end of the city I would definitely return next time I'm in the mood for sushi. And to try more dishes!
It is Korean Restaurant but serving sushi and other Asian cuisine, family run business I believe, working hard in this pandemic, nice people.
Love the tempura udon and sushi is amazing! Definitely recommend the soft shell crab roll and Malado sushi.
Great friendly Family run restaurant. Food is flavorful and reasonably priced. Waiting time for pick up orders is usually less than 15 minutes so when I call ahead, its always ready when I get there. Would highly recommend Malado for meals (lunch or dinner) when in the mood for Sushi or Sashimi (my favourites). We had their Thursday specials for dinner last week and both kids ate EVERYTHING in the packages! That says something!
I have been going to this Korean Japanese fusion sushi restaurant off and on again for several years and the quality has gone downhill but he prices steadily rising. Older service woman was inattentive and didnt tell us that the menu was online now and we realized after 10 minutes of not checking on us that it was online now. Food quality was average and portions were small. Prices were high and service was trash. Never once did she ask us for any tea refills or napkins etc. Played random drill rap music to eurodance music that messed up the whole mood, very strange music selection for a Asian restaurant. One of those mom and pop places that just isn't good. If you are hungry and craving Japanese Korean food and dont want to drive anywhere else go here otherwise avoid this place, your wallett will be lighter but your stomach will still be hungry.
