Great food and amazing service. Their meat is also halal if that is a concern for you. They have a spacious patio. You can book this place for parties and events. We had a 24-people party there last weekend. Everyone was happy and satisfied with their order. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
It was a great meal. Seemed like some real home cooking. Service was a little slow, but it was very early in the day and the food was worth the wait.
Food was excellent, service was a little too laid back and we had to flag the server down for dessert after he cleared out dishes and didn't bother asking us if we wanted anything else.
The most authentic Mexican food you can get in Toronto! The best! Get the flautas..extra guacamole! With the beans and rice for sure.

A long time fixture in the Bathurst/Lawrence area. Clean, open and safety protocols in place. Good food at a reasonable price friendly servers.
La Mexicana is appropriately named. The Mexican food there was tasty and I will return.

Great service! Empanadas were great to start.Baja fish tacos had a nice crispy coating on the fish.. Drool. I could eat 5 of them easily!Chimichangas were also a standout. Loved that it didn't feel too soggy from the sauce over top. The meat and tortillas still had a crisp and body that held together.Churros were good but I did not love the cream and cookie (overcooked and dry) or chocolate drizzle. I would have enjoyed cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.I would return and would definitely recommend this place.
