My Korean kick continues. Excellent establishment. Ambiance, patio, service, yes yes yes. We had a group of 7 that they easily accommodated. We ordered everything. Many of our group were trying Korean food for the first time and loved it! I however, being the expert Korean food eater that I am, felt the Bibimbap in the iron bowl should of been crispy! Everyone expects that otherwise just get it in a normal bowl (boring). Also this is the first time in my extensive Korean food consumption history that cheese came on the kimchi pancake and holy COW was it a lot of cheese. Everyone seemed to love it, but for me, I thought it was too greasy and well, cheesy. Also they were out of makgeolli (Korean wine) sad face, so all things considered, a solid four star with the potential for more. I’ll be back :)

3rd time visiting! Tried the minced beef patty with egg and rice cake. $18.99 for the set. And Standard Chicken soup.Food: always good. The rice cake surprised me. Beef not too salty, I like it.Service: normal. They are busy.Environment: good. Inside or patio. Clean. But parking is hard.Price: just normal Korean restaurants price, not super high, affordable.

Had the fried chicken, juicy tasty fresh etc etc. The seafood pancake. The Bibimbap and the squid H5 on the menu the dol sot. Prices were reasonable great patio and staff were kind and attentive.

Authentic Korean chicken soup, we also ordered cheese tonkatsu and hot pot bibibam, very tasty and beautiful presentation. Good vibes and service was excellent.

Ordered 3 dishes, all came very bland, the broth came with the squid rice was tasteless. Portion was small compared to other restaurants. The tofu soup with beef tasted watered down. The dishes looked visually appealing though. Food were pricy and they looked liked they were supposed to be tasty so there were some disappointments. Hope other dishes are better. The side dishes were also surprisingly subpar.

This place was pretty amazing. The service was spot on and the food was great, zesty, spicy and beautiful to look at before devouring. The whole party was happy and not a sour face in sight. Check them out.

Overall it was bit disappointing. It’s on the pricy side for Korean food and unfortunately the food quality and portion did not match that level. We had the chicken soup, kimchi cheese pancake and soodae. The flavors were okay, nothing special. The portion is small for the price they charged. Overall it’s a mediocre place, food isn’t horrible but not outstanding as well. There’s a lot of other Korean restaurant in this area that is cheaper and better for sure.

I tried this place as it's very close to my office. The service was great, the waitress was very friendly but the food was ok. I tried the squid bowl (stone bowl) dish and the taste was very light and the soup that came with the meal was also tasteless. But they weren't shy with the amount of the squids in this dish and extra sauce helped to make it taste better!

We are huge fans of korean food and KoSam is one of our favourite new discoveries on our quest to eat through Yonge and Finch!!Their specialty is this ginseng cornish hen soup (samgyetang) and lordylord this is the main reason we’re definitely going back!! The broth is light and a bit herbally but still meaty and 100% ADDICTIVE. The hen is from a local farm in Orangeville - super tender, juicy, and delish, rly can taste the difference!! With chickeny sticky rice in the cavity and extra noodles on the side, this dish makes me feel healthy after eating a pound of fried chicken ?We also had soft tofu jjigae with beef and WOW just heavy weight champion punches of flavour. Tons of beef and veggies and a perfectly poached egg ?‍? Also another amazing dish: fried chicken with anaheim peppers. The chicken was crispy and SOOO juicy, not oily at all. The peppers were equally as good, similar to shishito peppers, they’re only a bit spicy and pair sooo well with the chicken ?We also got the mung bean pancakes (bin dae tteok) which was meaty, but a bit dry (not sure if that’s what it’s supposed to be like?) It was still good, but just paled in comparison to everything else!Overall, a must return resto for us, highly recommend you make the trip down ?

Great place for Korean food. We had delicious Samgyetang or ginseng chicken soup as main dish and two appetizers: seafood pancake and spicy rice cakes. Samgyetang soup had the whole young chicken filled with flavours of garlic, rice, jujube, and ginseng. Great soup for hangover from my experience. Also, I liked that the restaurant had draft Sapporo beer, hard to find it these days on draft. Will come back again to try other items on the menu.
