Tried spicy miso, clam broth shio and shoyu ramen, and mini chashu don. We got there at around 11:00 on Saturday and there were plenty of seats. The service was okay. The food tastes good but is not the best ramen I've had. Signature clam broth ones were worth trying, but spicy miso and chashu don...not so much.
Got supersized signature ramens one mild one intense. The mild one you can taste more the clam soup base. The takoyaki is okay, one piece I ate the filling is still cold. Overall, taste is okay and a bit overpriced.
Saw that it had 1 michelin star from 2019-22.Asked for the ramen that was given the michelin along with chicken karage.Ramen was good, however the chicken karage was extremely delicious, crispy + moist. This place is pricy $$ expect dish out some cash.
The ramen is very good with so much umami and also the peach juice is crack bomb. The place has pretty good vibe as well. Must try it. The staffs are very nice and always willing to listen and help you out.
Second time coming here and got their signature clam ramen. Excellent flavour, the taste was clam was great in the broth. Noodles were a good texture. Black tonkostu ramen also good, but the signature clam broth I thought had more flavour and was definitely more interesting.
Konjiki Ramen is hands down one of the best ramen spots in Toronto. The flavour and umami of the soup base plus noodles is awesome!HOWEVER.. perhaps it's because this location is in the Yorkdale shopping mall and rent might be high, they charge an extra $4 more for a bowl of identical ramen you can get at the Konjiki downtown or Markham location - quite a rip.My go-to bowl of Clam Shoyu is typically $15.50 (excluding the egg) and at this location it's a whooping $19.99 - it's definitely not worth that much.Overall service for this location was okay, nothing special. What was weird when I visited, the waitress sat everyone all alongside the couch outside seating and no one in the middle.Secondly, the Saryo drinks and dessert place that's linked to it wasn't even open and was gated. It made the Konjiki storefront look as if it was closed that day.Anyway, Konjiki Ramen is still a great ramen joint but I 100% don't recommend you going to the Yorkdale location (unless you really crave noodles at the end of a shopping day and don't want to drive far like me). If it's not for the price, I would've given it a 4 or 5 stars.
Just had a wonderful lunch experience at Konjiki Ramen Yorkdale. Service was top notch and the Ramen was amazing and very flavourful!! Definitely coming back again next time we are at Yorkdale!!
Meh... I expected more considering the reviews and the WHOPPING $20 for a bowl of ramen. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and the chicken Karaage. As you can see in the picture, they gave me two small slices of pork belly instead of charsiu because they did not have any charsiu when I got in at 12PM (lol). The broth was okay and not as rich as I expect from a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. The chicken was nice and crispy, but was bland. Honestly, I will not be coming back because of the mediocre food. The staff was okay.
They make dam good ramen and quick service
The best ramen in town!! The texture of the noodles are tender and fresh. Soup base tastes delicious and rich. Service is on the top notch. Seatings are comfortable and spacious. Will definitely go back to try other dishes and dessert!!
