Excellent Katsu curry, the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The miso soup was substituted due to the miso shortage and the replacement soup was incredibly satisfying and delicious. Service was welcoming and attentive. Overall, a superb experience

Really goood katsu! Happy they offer the 10% cash discount.

This is my first time ordering from the Yonge & Sheppard location. I ordered the Pork Loin Katsu and Chicken Katsu. The presentation looks good, it came with a soup and a sauce on the side. The meat (both pork and chicken) was plain and tasteless, it lacked seasoning in my opinion. The sauce was mandatory in order to finish the meal. For the soup, initially I thought it was a miso soup, but when I took a sip it was like soy sauce mixed with water. The salad was fresh that was the only positive in my meal.

I ordered take-out over the phone and mentioned that I would be there in 30 minutes. As soon as I walked in, the staff confirmed my order which I thought would be ready to be picked up. I paid them right after and the cashier doesn't say anything. Thus, I was standing in front of them for another 10 mins and then THEY FINALLY REALIZED that my order had not gone through to the kitchen. I came in 40 minutes after I originally called, definitely expecting them to have my food ready, but I ending up having to wait another 10 minutes at the restaurant for the order to go through because all of their employees were too slow to understand that there is something wrong when you someone comes to pick up an order that they never put through.Very disappointed with awful customer service.

Sweet chili tonkatsu was delicious. Nice portion of meat. Enough sauce to dip every bite. Good amount of pickles and cabbage in the side to balance it out.Had a taste of my friend's curry tonkatsu and it was pretty good too!Only thing is I wish it came out a bit hotter.Lots of sitting space and service is good.

Love the garlic spicy chicken katsu. The food is a bit pricy but it did hit the spot.

The food was good as alwaysThe only downside is the price went up too high

It tastes far apart compared to other locations. Money wasted. Didn’t even finish the food although it was pretty pricy. Miso soup tastes like soy sauce soup smh. Totally not worth it?

Wow. Delicious, filling and a great experience. We ordered the pork tonkatsu cheese with carbonara sauce. Mine was more spicy. Absolutely loved it and will be back to try their other options. Simple menu, but well made, with lots of attention to detail.

always a good time when going to katsuya!they’re always consistent in their quality amd taste regardless of location! The katsus were crispy, the fries were crunchy, and the karaage was crispy crunchy! The fish katsu had the nice outer layer and the fish itself was flaky yet kept its shape so nicely. It’s so nice that this location took over their sister company bobooya, even though I’ve wanted to try bobooya for the longest time! It’s convenient since it’s in a prime yonge amd sheppard location, and because I keep forgetting to try their carbonara, I know I’ll be here again very soon to add that to my list of need to try.Service was amazing even though there’s no dine in at the moment. Came to pick up my order and I thought they closed later than I thought, but they did not treat me any differently even though I came late, which was nice!So consistent and love the service at all the locations I’ve tried! And it’s been a few of their different locations!Great job on everything!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!
