2.5 stars. I had the 7oz home burger combo. Take this as constructive criticism. It was a somewhat satisfying meal. Don't take me wrong, I was very full. But the patty while big, was too dry. The toppings could have been more generous. The thick fries were some of the best frozen variety I had. For an independent burger joint, I expected better and take it up in quality. Competition is fierce. Don't be complacent like the previous owner. Frozen patties and fries don't cut it in 2022.
Older establishment with new ownersIt was my first visit since the new owners came in. Took a test drive,take out, with a cheeseburger..Frist bite, final decision ,pretty damn good cheeseburger ,and hands down the best in this hood. Cooked perfectly and assembled before me with care. This ain't no fast food patty. Ill be returning to sample some more all summer.Forget fast food franchises, Its the Independent burger places that really rules. Made me drool like a fool. B
Great fast food. Surprisingly, they have more than just burgers. Check out their menu to understand but basically, look up their burger toppings lol ...There's a Greek twist with their village burgers. Food is made to order and definitely fresh! We went with Greek food and chose pork souvlaki and chicken (comes with white meat) souvlaki meals. Unconventional for a typical burger/hotdog place to carry those types of meals (unless we are talking about old school Danforth fast food type restaurants) The food was perfectly seasoned and still hot, even though we drove the food home to consume it. I was very impressed with their packaging too, everything was packaged nicely and the salad was in its own container, crisp, fresh and ohhh soooo goood!!!! Hot pita bread and tzatziki/salad dressing on the side. They know what they are doing and the cost was definitely worth it. Burgers are delicious also! The guy grilling is awesome and super friendly. He is so quick and definitely knows what he's doing in the kitchen! He gets into his zone and does a fantastic job!! We will definitely be coming back here and trying more of their menu items. YAY!!Also, I should mention they renovated the place because years ago, it needed updating and was a forgotten restaurant in that small plaza but now they revamped their menu and signs and then cleaned the place up to give it an updated fast-food diner type look. Still not fancy or modern but it is clean, bright and cute! No seating in the restaurant so you take your food and go. They accept credit cards, debit and cash. Always a PLUS, to accept cards!!!!
Ordered take out burgers and fries from this place a couple of days ago, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food arrived well packaged, all instructions were followed, the portion was huge, and the food tasted delicious. It's definitely one of my new favorite places for burguer. Highly recommend!
Let me start by saying, this is best food place in the city, HANDS DOWN! friendly staff, clean environment, great food, could it get any better? I think not :) I’ve tried everything on the menu from the steak, home burgers, chicken/pork souvlakis, fries.. I wasn’t disappointed once. I will definitely be telling everyone about this place and will definitely be coming by weekly as usual! Cheers!
Wow yeah very impressed I don't know if I have anything specific negative or positive to say but I just had probably my top 3 satisfying burgers of all time. I'm sitting here in zen can barely string together a review. Got a double burger. Simple. Cooked to perfection. They say 4oz patty but this seemed a lot larger. Juicy, bun didn't try to outshine the meat it was simply a bun and a great bun it was, give it a raise. Milkshake was fresh and honestly pretty damn good. Dropped in after driving by it and really glad I did. Almost say it's better than that one up the road but you'll have to try for yourself.
Disappointing service, i had to watch my friend eat for 10 min before they had my order ready when we ordered back to back. Chef picked up phone and went back to cooking after without washing his hands.
Amazing burgers at a very reasonable price. I mean, the other big chains charge more or the same and it's not real meat. The 7 ounce burger is huge and tastes amazing! I didnt need the fries or the onion rings, but I ate them anyway hahah
Food was pretty good. The burgers aren't dry anymore (I know that was a thing when the new owners took over). They don't salt their fries which is a personal preference. However, the chef that was assembling my burger wasn't wearing gloves. This would've been fine if he had washed his hands but there was visible dirt under his fingernails. It may not have been dirt, but it makes the customer doubt whether or not it was hygienic... And that's enough for me to not want to come back. I didn't say anything at the time because I find it hard to speak up. Please wear gloves next time or wash your hands thoroughly.
Amazing staff to begin with! Very friendly and genuine. The burger was very delicious and juicy! Fries were really good! Def recommend this place
