This place is a joke, serving stinky sashimi, Awful service attitude. Very disappointed.
Went to this place for dinner with a couple of friends a few weeks ago. I ordered the Terriyaki Salmon Bento Box dinner. Very delicious.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the portion size is a little small for me, as I'm still hungry after eating everything in the bento box. Well, nothing is perfect. No complaint about the Quality of food here
One of the best sushi I’ve had in the city! Felt like a very authentic experience right from the minute you enter. It’s like a portal to Japan!I ordered a Love Bento which is a combination of sushi, sashimi and maki rolls along with miso soup and salad. My companion ordered a Kalbi Bento Box. The fish tasted beautifully fresh and the salad dressing was tangy and citrusy unlike one I’ve ever tried before. It paired very well with the other fresh elements.In addition, we were given a bowl of edamame and cold noodles to munch on until the food arrived which was a pleasant surprise.The waitress was very kind and hospitable. She may even be a family member of the family that owns this restaurant.For the exceptional price, service, quality and value, this restaurant is one of the best sushi restaurants in Toronto and definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the Yonge-Sheppard area.
Excellent sushi establishment that I've been coming to for years. Pricing is excellent, fish quality is good and customer service has always been great to me. I strongly recommend Ichiban Sushi for those who want a good sushi meal with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
This place is amazing ! I left my purse in the restaurant and the staff went over and above to contact me and kept my belongings for me until I pick up. They are a great bunch of people. So thankful for this for otherwise a stressful holiday. Service aside, our family favorite is the sushi, unagi, salads and there is also vege options. The food is high quality and consistent and defintely our go-to when we want Janpanese. Highly recommend !
Delicious U-Don, takoyaki and stir fry, definitely a place to go for Japanese flavours.
This was our favourite go to place for take out bento box for the past year and a half. The food is still tasty. But we won’t be going back due the poor service over multiple occasions.
Came here with my family. The menu has a huge variety of foods to choose from, which is good. But the service is really bad. My family ordered food and we didn’t get it for over an hour. We ended up waiting a really long time for our food to come. I don’t recommend this place at all.
If I could give it zero stars, I would. I like simple type of rolls, like tuna maki or spicy scallop maki, where you actually taste the fish and no tempura bits or sauces, just fresh fish, that's all. After bringing my order home, I could not even understand what I was looking at... you could hardly tell if there was any fish there...spicy tuna, spicy scallop maki were just fried crunch and hot sauce... tuna pizza also did not have any real pieces of fish on it, just some fried clumps of unrecognizable substance.... unbelievable. Next time you order sushi from this place, call ahead and ask if there will be any fish in them...
I ordered a lunch box menu. The food tasted good, but I was still hungry even after I ate it up. We were four, and all of us felt same. The restaurant owner must have reduced the amount of the meals when they reopened after covid outbreak. I understood that they have raised the price. However, I felt deceived because they also reduced the amount of the foods. Anyway I gave them 15% tip, but I don't think they deserved it. We wont go back there again anyway.
