Came here cause my younger sister suggested - when we first walked in we were confused because we saw no one at the front and a customer eating and another standing at cash..we were there with no employee for maybe 5-8 mins and then a lady comes out and says ‘she’s coming’ - we ordered shrimp w mac & wings w mac, was told 15 mins wait & honestly it was probably shorter than that. Portions were big but not sure of each priced since the menu had no prices?¿ All together was $45 - It’s soul food and if you in the area this isn’t a bad spot but there’s definitely better soul food out there!
Really enjoyed our dining experience here. I ordered the mac, wings and shrimp. Food is well seasoned and fresh. The women who served us was very pleasant. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes.
The food is always exceptional well.I usually get the steamed fish which is done to perfection.Fish is flavourful, and seasoned very well with ground previsions, okra and corn.
The food is great. But that’s about it. The customer service is wild. The wait time is inexcusable. Every time I feel to go and eat something from them I regret it every time. By the time I get the food I don’t even want it again.
The food is pretty good, and portions are large. But the staff can be rude and every time I go they've charged me a different price for the same meal. I brought it up once after I paid, because i didn't want to make it a big deal (I had even tipped) and got attitude. Never went back again.

I'm a big fried chicken connoisseur. I've had fried chicken from Louisiana Mississippi and sourounding areas. This I would rank high. The flavours and presentation was top notch. Well thought out combinations of spices, textures and colours. The service was clean and friendly. Portions are worth the price. If you want quality you need to be patient. I would highly recommend the jerk chicken tacos or the chicken and waffle sandwich. Very good. We will be back for sure.

Tried the express side today. Isnt really express cause its only one person working but they put heart and soul into the food. Giving it a 4 just for the wait. PORTION AND PRESENTATION IS A1
The gir woman who initially helped us was very nice and courteous, but the wait time for the food was over 1 hour! The food tastes really good and the portion size was good, but I strongly suggest placing your order before hand. This was our first time, don't make the same mistake!
