It is our second time coming here for DongDongJu (Korean rice wine) and Gejang (marinated raw crab). The crab is still as fresh as ever, and it went almost perfect with the rice wine (that's because their other food also went deliciously with the wine). Although the price is affordable, for us it's a satisfying treat once every few months. We also went on a Saturday for dinner, yet it's not too crowded; people came and went. Such a gem in North York!Parking: Parking is at the back of the building.

Authentic Korean food. Try the raw crab with soy sauce and with spicy sauce. Me and my friends recommend the soy sauce one and the pork bone soup is sooo good as well.We asked for more rice and refill the side dishes. They got us back so quick!Definitely will come back to try more dishes!

Small place for hearty food. They don’t take reservations as there is a total of around 10 booths, but wait time isn’t too long. Small booths that are close together, and small bathrooms that are decently maintained. The staff was not rude at all but aren’t that tentative. For a table of 4, we got a rice, hotpot, and 2 orders of crab. The side dishes that come with it are decent, also comes with bowls of purple rice. The kimchi fried rice was really good, but definitely small portion for the price. The army stew was decent but very basic for the price— mostly just bean sprouts, spam, kimchi and only 1 packet of noodle. The blue crab was interesting as it was our first time, and definitely something to try; very soft and melts in your mouth. Drinks are fairly expensive but saw lots of tables drinking soju and chit chatting.Overall, decent place for hearty food but kind of expensive considering the portion size.

25March2022Came here during lunch time and it is not busy.No problem finding a parking spot near the restaurant.Restaurant is small (maybe 6 to 7 tables)We came here for their Raw Crab dish and this is the first time we have Raw Crab.We also ordered pork bone soup.Raw Crab is marinated with soy sauce and it is fresh... Really nice and it doesn't have those bad seafood smell.Pork bone soup is really nice as well... It is not too salty in compare to other Korean restaurants. The only thing is that I have to keep looking for them if I want something from them. But I understand as this is a family business. Will come again and will recommend to my friends

Headed there for their ganjang gejang (raw marinated crabs) - it’s my first time trying and personally I enjoyed the taste. It was a tad to the saltier side but it was nice eaten with rice. The crabs were a lot smaller than I anticipated and I think at $25 I guess I was expecting something a little more substantial. The pork bone soup was really average and at $17 I wouldn’t order it again. The service was haphazard because the old man at the front of the house was quite rude (assuming he’s the owner) but the younger (than the owner, but still in her 40/50s) lady at the back of the house was lovely and accommodating. She always had a smile on her face and was always friendly. I ordered a beer half way through the meal (because the crab was quite salty and a tad fishy) and didn’t end up finishing even after I’ve paid. But they brought out a small side dish to go with my leftover beer without me asking!Overall I’d say service was decent and thank you for providing me with the opportunity to try the crab dish!

Pretty good Korean food. The marinated crabs are delicious, along with many other korean dishes.I would visit this restaurant often

Hidden gem! Small restaurant. It was absolutely delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some of the plates are sharable and others are individual. There was also side dishes provided. I would definitely return!

Tonight we went for dinner at this restaurant because a friend wanted to try the raw crab marinated in soy sauce. First mistake they sit us in the employee table which is crammed and full items such employee cell phone, notes and calendars. Second mistake when the waitress took our order we only ordered three dishes. The waitress says to us but you are four. Very good I am glad you can count. And the last time I checked we live in a free society. Three while seated in the employee table. The waitress and everyone keep bumping into me and the table. Four you can hear the boss and women screaming at each other “professionalism” at its finest. And finally when the appetizer and main courses arrived it was average. The rice I received was cold to the touch. And like many of reviews mention there are better Korean options in the GTA. Waste time and money.

Food was good and authentic. Service was decent. No complaints. Came a bit late around 9pm and they close at 10pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Good experience.

I've always wanted to try the Gejang (Raw Crabs) after seeing it so many times online. This place makes is super nice. They give lots of great variety of banchan, the price is fair. The pancake is crispy and nice. Other than crab and seafood pancake, we ordered the Kimchi jjigae. We went as a group of two, and definitely over ordered, but it was worth the experience. There are tons of dishes on the menu that I want to try. The restaurant has limited dine in space, with no parking space. But they're less than 5 mins of walk away from ttc parking lot.
