⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just enjoyed lunch at the new Park Place location in Barrie. Welcoming hostess and servers. Luxurious decor. Delicious food—from healthy and vegan options to classic faves—and portions so generous I’m taking the rest home for dinner! The Greek Salad was so good I tucked in and finished it before I thought to take a pic and leave a review (yup, I was that hungry?) so my takeaway container filled with Montreal Smoked Meat on Marble Rye and Yam Fries will have to do for the photo op. Doesn’t do the presentation justice but believe my taste buds, so goood!! Will definitely be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Staffs are very friendly and passionately. My family had brunch there and we all love what we ate there. However, the cappuccino and latte might not be made by the barista. They probably are made by the machine, which made me a bit disappointed.
I brought my wife here for a birthday brunch and we had a great time. Here is the summary.Food: fantastic breakfast items that are freshly made. The iced latte was great however the smoothie could be improved.Staff: extremely courteous staff and when I asked if they have a small muffin to celebrate my wife’s birthday they said they do not have any. Instead they brought their iconic vegan pancakes and it was truly amazing. We loved this restaurant and will definitely come here again. Thank you team Evivva North York
Really classy and beautiful interior, went for lunch on Sunday and it was buzzing. There’s good availability indoors and some outdoor seating as well. Good service with an extensive menu. Had fresh orange juice with an Atlantic smoked salmon eggs Benedict which was very well prepared, would definitely have again. Great place.
wonderful vegan breakfast! friendly and cozy! excited for the Barrie location!
The classic vegan Reuben sandwich ($16.99) just beckoned me to try it and arrived looking like a glorious pastrami sandwich. One bite into the faux meat and I was reminded this is indeed vegan – the seitan was too soft and mushy, tasting more like beef tartare than smoked meat. Instead of creating such a thick stack, I would rather Evviva uses less seitan and took the time to really grill each slice, so it develops a crust to provide the bite and chewiness of meat.Nevertheless, the marble rye was toasted to greasy perfection and the Russian dressing combined with sauerkraut and melted cheddar made for such flavourful bites. I ended up removing the middle portion of seitan and substituted it with pickles to create a delicious sandwich, the acidity of pickle was perfect to counteract the otherwise heavy sandwich. The fries could have been double fried to give if more crunch but were at least hot and fresh. In retrospect, I would order the home fries instead as they are amazing: the uber crispy exterior and perfect sized cubes just begged to be devoured. I would have gladly traded in the handful of leafy salad the came with the Florentine egg’s benedict ($16.99) for more of the tasty spuds. In my haste to order I forgot to ask for the poached eggs to be done medium, so I did find the yolk to be a tad runnier than I’d like. As luck would have it, the Hollandaise sauce and the home fries were piping hot and the perfect vessel for mixing and dipping into the eggs to stiffen the yolk. The sauce’s seasoning was also bang on with enough saltiness to flavour the eggs without overtaking the dish. I can see why the egg’s benedict is such a popular choice.
A friend suggested this restaurant and told me it was excellent, she was not laying. The service was was great, as was the food. They welcome you in and made you feel that you were special to them. The atmosphere was lovely as was the restaurant it's self. Will definitely go again.
This place was amazing, the staff was super friendly, the place was so pretty and aesthetically pleasing! Would recommend going in a small/medium sized group (like 4-6) as it was faster to get a seat compared to group of 2. Portions of the food were perfect and were well priced! Would definitely go again!
I visited twice in two weeks. Today was my second time. The first time I ordered a tea and sausage and eggs with side salad, home fries and gluten free bread (charge extra). It was not bad.Today, I ordered the Eggs Benedict with home fries, ham, side salad and gluten free bread (charge extra). I also ordered a 12 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed my Eggs Benedict dish ?The waitress was good and gave good service. Would visit again possibly.
My bf and I had high expectations when we went there cause the place had the longest line and we had to wait 1hr to get in. When we got in the waitress took a long time bringing our orders and after waiting 1hr and 40mins we got to eat. The food was fresh but not tasty at all. My bf got steaks and eggs and I got the Benedicts. We got two lattes and the price jumped to almost $65. With the not so great taste, long wait and rude servers I can’t give more than 3stars. I definitely won’t go back since there are better brunch places in Toronto!!
