Excellent value, huge portion and tastes great.Their rice noodles are the best on menu. Many choices on the mix-and-match menu. This is my go-to restaurant.Overall: 4.7/5________________________Taste (40% of overall): 4.5/5Portion (20% of overall): 5/5Price (20% of overall): 5/5Comfort (10% of overall): 5/5Service (10% of overall): 4/5

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE NOT ASIAN!!!!! VERY RACIST LOCATION!!I have been a loyal customer of Dear for over 7 years, however my experience yesterday will never allow me to visit this location again. I rather drive the extra 20 minutes to go to Richmond Hill which is the original location.I came in at 7:50pm yesterday with 3 others and the lady told us takeout only because last call was 8:00pm. None of us are Asian and we are confused as it is 7:50 not even close to 8. We leave the restaurant and walk back to our cars. We then see an Asian couple now go in and get seated around 7:53pm……I know the manager at this location used to work at the Richmond Hill location before opening up this one. I will not be returning to this location after this experience!!!!

Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!!We got Vermicelli in Spicy Szechuan Fish Soup, Vermicelli in Chaochau Style Dried Fish & Minced Pork Fish Soup, and a side order of Pan Fried Sausage Slices w/ Honey Glaze. For the Spicy Fish Soup, we chose Sliced Beef and Enoki Mushrooms with it, it didn’t have much numbing effect, but it was definitely spicy, and the broth was rich! For those who can’t tolerate spice, we recommend the Chaochau Style Dried Fish & Minced Pork Fish Soup, we got Pork Liver and Beef Tendon Balls in it, the broth was comforting, and flavourful! We also got one side order of Chinese Sausage, it was pan fried to perfection and the Honey Glaze was BOMB!!

Got the Malaysian laksa soup with vermicelli noodles, along with popcorn chicken and pork chop to share. The noodle bowl is massive. Definitely share one when you come here. Service is fast and you get a lot of choice when customizing your soup.

Fresh and rich fish soup rice noodle soup!! Delicious and will be back again. Chicken wings were great too, don’t miss that.

Had this back in richmond bc, just had one bowl earlier. Service could be slightly better. The place has seen little change since covid and the food is just as good as i remembered. The soup is amazing!!

You get to choose several broth and toppings yourself, almost like a hotpot bowl already cooked for youFor each of the customized noodles order , you get some veggies (cabbage and bean sprouts) already, so if you eat meat, order double the meat for a more satisfying bowl.We were a fan of their laksa and fish broth!

A local favourite, Deer Garden has possibly the best choose-your-own-noodle selection in the GTA.The secret is in the soups. The no MSG but full-flavour soups are amazing and fills the tummy. I enjoy them a lot and come here often for both take-out and dine-in.There's a regular fish soup, the century egg + parsley, gingko pepper soup, malay laksa soup, and more. Something for everyone and I've yet to have a bad soup there. My only tick is that the price has gone up significantly since they've opened, but that's more of a complaint on the pricing since COVID started. A great option for lunch or dinner!

Always enjoy the food here.Laksa is the best.Wasn't busy around 5 pm on Friday.

Got the build your own noodles and got the laksa soup with udon noodles with pork and mushshroom balls and beef brisket. The noodles was very tasty i must say and the portion size was big. The only this i disliked is how the card you order on was organized. The build your own noodles comes with a "free" drink and on the card you just choose hot or cold and i chose a cold drink thinking it was just a cup of iced milk tea. (I was half right on that) After we called the server back to give him our order, he informed us that cold drinks are $1 extra. This baffled me. It cost a dollar extra for ice? Absolute nonsense. Everything was pretty good, it was just the way order card was laid out. A nasty and gross tactic to use since they know most people will pay it. I wont tho.
