The setting here is really nice, with authentic Japanese decor. I bought the new spirit-themed soft serve ice cream in the flavours shizuki dragon fruit yuzu and hatsuki signature matcha. They both had cute designs. I liked the matcha one but the dragon fruit flavour didn't taste very good; it was too floral for my preferences. Daigyo has lots of other Japanese desserts and drinks on their menu (most are matcha flavour). I want to come back to try their matcha mochi waffle.
Been to this location multiple times for dessert and for the most part it's pretty solid. Anything from their matcha selection is always a safe and good choice. Their new dragonfruit yuzu special is admittedly a bit odd tasting at first but you do kind of get used to it.
We went in because of how popular this place was. Tried their new dragon fruit and matcha desserts which were not that great and expensive ($19.20 for the two).
I passed by the coffee shop and I couldn’t help but enter. The store has a nice touch of art which makes me fall in love. The fresh flowers are definitely a highlight because of its beautiful scent. Also, the lanterns are supper luminous too. Highly recommend!
Great spot for Japanese soft serves and parfaits! I tried the limited time parfaits inspired by Japanese folklore and not only was the packaging super cute but the parfaits were delish!Initially i was lowkey sad that Tsujiri closed down but Daigyo not only filled in their spot but brought even more to the table! The Kitsune parfait was a yuzu & dragonfruit soft serve with mochi and a monaka cookie on top!! The mochi was chewy and the different flavours were delicious. This was definitely a refreshing choice. The matcha soft serve for the Neko parfait could have been stronger imo. The combo of mochi, cookie and soft serve is still yummy nonetheless. They were also giving out free stickers of the logo for this launch!!Hoping they continue coming up with fun and creative themes for their desserts! This was a super fun parfait launch that i feel sets them apart from all the other soft serve spots in the GTA!
Genuine matcha tea ice cream that’s not overly sweet, preserving its original taste. Service is quick and efficient and decor is pretty.
Delicious Japanese beverages with friendly and kind staffs! It is a cozy and quiet cafe where I will be visiting often :)I would recommend this place to others!
This place has great music choice if you like Japanese music :) the drinks are pretty good too. The guy making my drink was also super nice.
Super cute café for a date spot. They got a great variety of matcha items, I got a matcha smoothie that was very good and blended nicely. The staff was very kind and helpful with recommendations. The prices are fair considering they’re using high quality matcha for all their products. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the soft serve!
Thick soft serveCreamy to perfectionThey do not use the matcha sparingly meaning they give you enough to satisfy your tasteI love itCafe had a vibe and I cannot wait until the building across the road is finished to add to the experience.
