==Updated 11 Feb 2022==As usual, Congee Queen serves fresh and great-tasting food. We had been ordering takeouts and food for delivery during the lockdown too!Today, I veered out of my usual picks and got the Fried Seabass with Thai Mango. I didn't quite enjoy this but it was quality food. Also tried the Fried Rice Noodles with Beef which was very good (can taste the wok-hey)!Hubby got the usual Stir Fried Chicken with Spicy Black Bean Sauce and Crispy Chicken. Both were very good too.Also ordered the BBQ Duck for take out. It's excellent!We definitely will come back / order again!======================Great tasting food! Surprised we didn't come here earlier!The Beef with Ginger and Scallions was very very good, with the right wok hey. Amazing that the onions and scallions were as delicious as the beef!Fried Chicken Wings (seasoned with fish sauce) were very good too. It was fragrant and juicy. This is the type without breading which we really enjoyed.Beancurd with Black Bean Sauce was great too. And so was the Congee with Pork Kidney and Liver.Every single dish hit the spot! Will be back!
Been enjoying all their locations for several years. A go-to for good, fresh food.Dined in tonight, Monday. No regard for social distancing. We were seated in the regular dining tables - not the booths. Their measurement of six feet is not universal. Closer to 2 feet apart. No excuses after almost 2 years in this pandemic. We were ok at first, then we surrounded by other diners (not their fault). Took our food to go but will never be returning.
I love the congee queen restaurants but not this locations so much. I went in to get take out today, I watched them drop someone’s piece of meat (the ones hanging in the display window) on the floor and then use a wet rag to wipe it off before packaging the food. The food I got was also not good. Wonton noodle soup I got was mushy did not taste fresh, and the black bean chicken was 95% onion and pepper 5% actual chicken, I feel ripped off. After watching the staff package food that was dropped on the floor, I won’t be coming back to this location anymore. i understand it is expense to just throw out food, and it slipped onto the floor as you took it out of the display, however packaging it is completely unacceptable, and it makes me question the quality of the food I’m being given. It’s unfortunate i witnessed this because like i said I love congee queen as a franchise and even the staff at this location are always friendly but todays experience was enough for me to never go back.
Good food and better service! Went for dinner with my partner and ordered the chicken and seafood congee (fyi it's all minced seafood and chicken mix... But tasty) seafood hor fun and half chicken double boiled. Food is classic and delicious. Clean environment with screens for covid precautions and we appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend this location for family and friend outing.
We had a very good lunch for four people , highlighted by the Super Bowl seafood congee which we all loved . Other dishes included stir fried seafood and Chinese vegetables , salty and pepper squid , pineapple fried rice with seafood , and pan fried noodle . Everything was very enjoyable , and we would return for sure

First time to eat dinner at this restaurant. The food is yummy, I like it so much since it's a healthy food and no wonder there's a lot of people coming here in this restaurant and would love to try more of their food.
Absolutely delicious with huge portions! Definitely a place where you can order a few dishes and share them amongst the table. Service was friendly and the staff were polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
This place is ok. It took awhile for someone to help us, even though it wasn’t that busy. My partner ordered a mango bubble tea, and it was nothing like the photo in the menu. It also had a weird after taste, so he barely drank it. Also had to ask twice to get rice, before they brought it over. I found this odd that our main dish was served without it even though we asked for it. Food is pricey for the quality. Not a restaurant I feel drawn to go back to.
Good food, but uneven, all good but Congee was not spiced properly so was bland. Avoid salmon fried rice, cooked ok but the combination does not work together, just comes out oily with a fish taste but one of our guests had to try it and $17+ is way more than regular fried rice. Steamed rice is still the best to me. Not crowded at 630pm Saturday Nov. 13 but dress warmly, if there is a line up people are sent outdoors or to their car to wait. Prices have inched higher but still good sized portions, fresh, and good taste so we forgive the occasional cooking error. Five stars to me because the price and size offset the occasional error but you should check them out.
