Cannot get enough of this place! The batter is so good and chewy! They totally nailed it. Any of the cheese dogs will knock your socks off.The squid ink one doesn’t have a distinct squid ink flavour so probably my least recommended option on the menu.
I LOVE Korean corn dogs -- they are so chewy, saucy, customizable, and they are a full meal in their own right! Personally, I love Chungchun's the best ?If you're turned off by American corndogs, don't let that stop you from giving these a try, they will probably surprise you!!
Tasty and crispy rice hotdogs! Had to queue the last time I went there but it was for sure worth the wait! My favorite is the jumbo which is a beef sausage.
Pretty good corn dogs. Always consistent quality. Their dough and breading is excellent but I think their cheese could be better. If the line gets too long I wouldn’t wait I’d just go to another spot.

I came to Chungchun Rice Dog a long time ago when they first opened. I ordered the squid ink cheese hotdog and the whole mozzarella cheese hotdog. Usually I don’t really like hotdogs (I prefer sausages) but I wanted to try this place because I generally enjoy street food and Korean cuisine. The 2 items that I ordered tasted alright but the rice flour batter wasn’t enough to convert me into a hotdog lover haha, so I probably won’t order those items again. I like that Chungchun Rice Dog offers a unique take on American corndogs. If they sell any rice dogs containing sausages, I’d be interested in trying those.

This tiny shop makes the most delicious Korean Style Hotdogs that are made with a sticky and chewy rice dough! I ordered the the Chungchun (Original Hotdog), the Gamsung (Potato) Hotdog), Mozzarella Cheese Hotdog with Flakes, and the Ramen chips Hotdog! I tried to get different sauce combinations, with everything from spicy mayo to garlic butter dust to even sugar.I loved every last bite! The hot dogs are tasty, the dough is an amazing texture and the outside is SO CRISPY! My favourite was definitely the Mozzarella Cheese Hotdog with Flakes. The flake topping is actually so fire. I just wish they’d let you get them on the classic hotdog, as I could only eat the half of the hotdog with no cheese.Nevertheless, this Chungchun is a MUST try if you are in the Toronto area!
Me and my friend went out Saturday night, January 15. Take note this day was freezing, it was like -20°c and feels like -25 or -30. I know how long usually they take to complete your order but it's fine because their food never disappoints, its hella good. I'm giving them 5 stars because I ordered 6 corndogs and it only took less than 10 minutes and right after paying, they'd give you small heat pouches. Honestly it barely worked that night cause it was really cold but it is very much appreciated because they are aware pf how cold it is and they try their best to give your order as fast as they can. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GRAB A SNACK.
