One of the worst butter chicken biryanis I've ever had !!The rise was extremely stale and even the butter chicken had literally no taste. It was so watered down. The chicken felt like it was not marinated properly.I've had better frozen butter chicken. No kidding !! And yes this is the one in Sheppard Yonge inside the mall.Even the cashier seemed so disinterested and unfriendly. Will never go there again and would definitely recommend others to do the same.
Today again I had Chana Bhatura was not good enough, bhatura was like raw maida & Chana was tasteless. I paid $11.24. It’s expensive but no value for money. All waisted.Very bad experience again.Today I have visit Butter Chik, 4950 Yong street. I have ordered Chicken tikka masala and naan, Chicken tikka masala was pathetic, and Naan..I could not understand what was that it was like pizza base.Very bad experience ever had.Pls improve your quality.
Worst quality and taste so bad.I ordered paneer makhani with butter naan which was not even 1% near to what it should taste like.Butter paneer gravy taste extremely tangy, like really tangy and sour. One cannot even stand that tangy smell. It felt so tasteless and couldn’t take even one bite ?.Butter Naan size too small as compared to price and it seems like a thick piece of under cooked bread with no butter.
I ordered paneer makhani and butter naan. Paneer makhani was good but also bit sweet. Naan was too bad. They don’t know what butter naan is. Its too hard to eat and tasteless. Try to improve. Thanks

I’ve been finding Indian authentic taste in Canada for 3 years and finally found the place. Specifically Bombay gobhi stole my soul. I would like recommend everyone to try this dish when they visit butterchick.
I ordered a chicken biryani as takeout from this store at 6:30 on January 24th. I walked home and had the meal - there were a total of 4 pieces of chicken at the bottom of a pile of rice. The entire thing was greasy and the very bottom of the food container smelled like vinegar and eggs - needless to say this made me completely lose my appetite after a few bites. This was a total disappointment for an 18 dollar (post tax) meal.
The shop was good earlier but now the new guys are trying to sell the leftover food to is. Once we ordered samosas to eat there and they handed over us cold samosas saying they are fresh fried. After complaining they changed them. Today my wife just bought 6 samosas to eat in our house with tea and they again gave her old samosas probably left over from yesterday or atleast fried much before she arrived to order. They were cold and little bitter in taste and taste differently then fresh fried. Strongly recommend to not buy from them. Pathetic quality and waste of money, cheating by desi at its best
I had the Chaat Papri. It was fantastic! so many layers of flavor and great crunch. just too bad I didn't order a second! love it. If you love Indian Food Butterchick is definitely worth a try.
