Ordered a bacon poutine because a few years back when I used to work at Yorkdale, their poutine was better than New York Fries (just personal preference), so this time I ordered poutine again, but they only have premium poutines, not a regular one with simple cheese curds and gravy.I went and ordered something else from chipotle then went right back to their counter for pickup, saw a fries in a box with the lid wide open by their gravy bowl near the grill, and shortly turns out it was mine…Took it back to my table and the first impression was already disappointed, look at how the gravy looks on the fries and cheese, it’s lumpy, it’s thick, and it’s lukewarm!?!?Only the fries were hot (straight from fryer), I took it right back to Big Smoke and told them gravy is cold, the employee said he’ll make me a new one, dipped his finger ( he wore gloves)?into the gravy bowl to test the temperature, and quickly brought me a new one. I’m not sure if it’s the same one I got, couldn’t see what happened, but the gravy was still lukewarm, I’ve given up at that point and just went on with it, but if the gravy is not hot, the entire poutine is ruined. The cheese curds were cold, like cold from the fridge, this is by far the most disgusting poutine I’ve ever tasted in my life, never going back to this place or any Big Smoke again.

This whole place is disorganized and had no regard for quality food. We asked for 2 combo items off the menu with the typical addons they have available, and the the chefs had our food waiting for 8 mins in front of us. They got both our orders wrong and the food was cold. When we asked for a refund, the woman at the register denied it stating "this is how we are trained", and "we are understaffed". She finally gave us a refund after telling us she doesn't want to be written up. This place has poor customer service, slow food, underqualified staff. Anywhere at Yorkdale, but here, is good. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Didn’t even bother eating my burger. The girl working the counter threw raw chicken breast into the fryer and proceed to assemble my burger, top my poutine with cheese and rifle through the salad drawer without changing gloves. Didn’t want to risk food poisoning. This happened on Monday Feb 14th at 2pm

I was excited about my burger when I first ordered, but when I saw how it was cooked, I knew it was going to be dry. The cook was squeezing my 2 patties with tongs (which were frozen and not fresh by the way), to break the burger up so the juices could drip out (who in the world cooks a burger like this?) Then I saw the cook press my burger down like she was trying to squeeze out the juice from the meat. When I asked her if this is standard procedure, she said yes and it was to allow the "blood and other fluids to escape the burger". I'm not an expert chef, but over the years, I've made and cooked at least 500 burgers from scratch. I cook a batch of about 2 kgs of burgers at a time for my family and never once was my burger this dry. I don't even like to poke my burger with a meat thermometer because that is how the juices escape. To pay $16.90 for just a dry burger (double patty) without fries or drinks was a complete waste of money. There are better options in the food court. This is a complete embarrassment to a burger restaurant.

This is what I think very disorganized they had a hard time getting the mayonnaise out of the squeeze bottle I got onion rings they three different times and cooked at two different times the guy couldn't find the right bag I put the onions in he put into different kind of bag before you found the right one. It took my drink out one and then put it back in the fridge and give it again for $22 it was not worth it for me I don't think I would head back there so quickly. Proper training need to happen the burger it was okay

Unfortunately I just ate here for the first time and I got a burger for me and my girlfriend and within 20 minutes of eating it she instantly threw up and I felt like garbage. I’ve heard good things and was happy to try it out but sorry to say but I was really disappointed and feel pretty sick.

Tasty and good portions. One of the best burgers in Toronto.

Is this place real?! I honestly think this was one of the best burgers I ever ate in Toronto. I had a really good experience with my family there. The food and the service were 100%! Definitely will order from them again!

They have delicious burgers and the customer service was great. They have fresh and delicious food there!
