I am a regular visitor of Aroma, and always come here for their Almond Croissant. About two months ago their staff told me that after 7 the baked goods are 50% off, so after that I'd come every alternate day to get dessert from here. Today I went around 7:30pm and the guy at the counter told me that I can't get 50% off the croissant because that's the only one left, and when they have more than one, only then it's applicable. I told him that I live at Quad so I visit very often and this is the first time I've heard that, and he goes like 'Um.. So?' as if I'm asking it for free. Since I'm genuinely a fan of the brand, I'd request to please have a consistent policy, and perhaps train the staff to be more kind :)
Caution!!! Check your salad, before heading back home to eat your take out. Initial order was processed as vegan side salad; As you can see in the picture, there is nothing vegan about it (mind the cheese). So heads up everyone!

Clean, beautiful, good food and nice staff! I had the matcha latte which was rich and creamy. The croissant was also good. There were other options on the menu that seemed delicious too and I am excited to try more of their menu!

Love this french feel breakfast joint. The food is healthy and the vibe is absolutely very positive. We are here most of our Saturday mornings. The food is delicious and worth every penny. I am not a regular coffee/ tea/ pop person, but I do enjoy hot drink with my solid food at Aroma. There is outdoor seating, wheechair accessible. Next to university. It is a healthy choice. They give small chocolate bars with every food you order.
I have always managed to find some place to sit there. It’s a bit pricey, but their food and coffee are great.
I have come back here time and time again. They make their lattes really well because they are super frothy. Also pro tip: you know a cafe is good when the frother is super quiet when it froths the beverage. I also love the fact that they give a small chocolate with your order.
Great coffee shop to get some studying done or hang out with friends. Very close to the York University campus.
They always have great drinks and great service! For food, I usually get the croissant or cookie warmed up. I like to have a variety of drinks but end up sticking to their mocha. It’s amazing probably because they actually make it with melted chocolate squares.
