I love Persian food and there is no better place to get it than here in the Persian ghetto in North York. I always get the vaziri, the portion is huge and the flavour and texture were on point.
My food was good. Kebobs of I forget which variety, but tender and juicy. Went down easy and rice was well prepared too, with the sweet berries. Order came very quickly too. They know what they're doing and for this price point, there are few other places which could do any better. Only wish they had more bread options, something thick and chewy to go with the meal would have been great
This is my 3rd time ordering from Altona Kabob. I ordered the Baghli polo lamb shank plate and the koobideh kebab meal with the cucumber yoghurt with salad on the side??????-Amazing
Me and my family just recently visited this place. It was quite a surprising experience for us! The food was very fresh and tasty. Prices were good too.Their dining area could be nicer.I’d definitely suggest this place to everyone.
I am a big fan of Persian Cuisine, but this takeout was literally the worst food I've ever had. They are situated in a very good location with many other good options; decided to give them a try and I am highly disappointed. Amazed on how they have been able to stay in business this long.
Place is not clean. Portion is not right. Quality is not good. Owner is a rip off artist. Make sure you double check your recipe before you leave. He will charge you for looking at him twice ?. If you want a good Persian food you go to a place that the owner is persian.for $5 more on one order you can go to a 5star Persian restaurants.very high prices for a fast food small business.
In the past it was perfect restaurant for quality and customer’s service but recently both drops down specially their customer service. A lady work there as a cashier that she doesn’t good behaviour with their customer. I hope they try to improve their defect specifically their customer service because it was my favourite restaurant for over 3 last years.
This is my go to kebab plate spot. Prices are good, which is a big reason why I come here. Good tasting kebabs no complaints.
I went there with my family to have dinner Dec22/2021 around 6:00pm.I am very disappointed at their service and RACIST Attitude.Ordered my food and paid for it, after sometime the order was ready and put right beside the cashier to call me for my order , she looks at the order and completely Ignores it , goes to the back waits few minutes and come back and takes another order, my food still sitting there by cashier, she does downstairs and comes back the other order is ready, she hands over their food, my food still sitting right there. She ignores it again and goes back to the kitchen, finally I went to her and said where is my food, she picks the food that is being sitting there and now it is cold and pass it to me said there you go.I am really shocked, I throughly believe she did that as Racist because I spoke farsi with broken Accent.I hope the owner sees this review and do something about it. If that the person itself is not the owner.
Was so worried because there’s other review about having a beetle in their plate but luckily mine didn’t seem to have any ?? Ordered Vaziri Leg for delivery and it was great!
