Very busy. Food was good but expensive. I love the root beer and onion rings.
This has been my first and last time at this location. We came here at a somewhat busy time, but it wasn't packed. We ordered two drinks and two burgers. The man taking our order absolutely didn't know what he was doing. He looked spaced out and kept telling us "wait" and "hold on" whenever we would say anything. He gave us an ice tea instead of root beer and then looked at me with a blank stare when I asked for hot tea. He took ages to give us our order and the lady working with him was no better. The staff really need education on the menu and need to be retrained. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing and on top of that, have no customer service etiquette whatsoever. I will not be returning here.
My wife wanted to go for the onion rings, I love onion rings but I didn't find these very nice in the texture or taste or smell. Harveys rings are my preference. The sweet potato fries were kinda bland too. Maybe the food varies from location to location but it shouldn't.
Usually stop for breakfast burrito & coffee. When I 1st started buying it, it had mayonnaise in it...which I loved then they put ketchup in it....hate it!! This should not be so inconsistent!! Last couple of times I specifically asked for mayonnaise no ketchup.....arrived at work only to find ketchup on it! Love the breakfast wrap but don't think it's worth returning if they're NOT LISTENING!!!!!
This location started out great, but lately the food quality has declined noticeably even get cold burgers at times. They have new staff who are absolute space cadets who get your orders wrong and forget to add condiments 2 minutes after you ask for them. This is when I’m the only Customer being served at the time not even busy, you ask them a question and all you get is a blank stare and an ‘I don’t know’ ??♂️Well I know that this location has taken a serious dump! What a shame
A&W is some of the best root beer and burgers!?????♂️ ?? I was always a fan of westerns and I tell people all the time how they would walk in and ask for a sasparilla which was the way of saying root beer back in the day! Also even in hospitals and doctors office I've had to note that root beer technically doesn't have caffeine because even people who want a beverage can enjoy a delicious root beer!!So A&W has gone above and beyond to get good quality meat and they do a great breakfast and since the early days of 1950s they have always done delicious food right??They even have a delicious naturally made root beer here that I told my American friends I feel sorry cuz it's so good! I have several large glass mugs that I got even twenty years ago they still sell them but I still have some of the classic ones and you'll find them even in thrift shops cuz A&W is classically Canadian.The staff are usually very helpful I was at this location in early 2022 and despite some pretentious local customers because this area people need to drive safe and use their manners it's always been wealthy area with your deal close by. It's a mixture of all types and thanks to the hard-working staff for doing a great job and providing good meals? ???
Be careful guys..if u are coffee lover ..as the coffee is on promotion right now for $1 if u ask in this location for a large one they give u medium one and if u ask why..they say we have just 2 size smal and medium..which is completely b....t..
My favourite fast food chain, hands down! I love the fact they are so fresh & the ingredients are pretty simple and natural!! I also love that they do lettuce wrap burgers!! So much healthier for you & perfect for keto diet, Atkins or gluten free. My favourites are mozzarella burgers & onion rings!! Mmmm ? (onion rings ARE NOT gluten free!).If you're wondering about their coffee I can tell you that it is really quite good. If your usual coffee is from Tims or McDonald's. you'll find this coffee to be on par with those. But if you prefer your coffee strong then you might find it a little bit on the weak side. As for me I absolutely loved itOf course my all-time favorite is there frosted mugs of root beer. Made from all natural cane they say ?
The fries were very old and not warm at all. You can tell it was made hours ago. Also, they are using COVID as an excuse to keep the washrooms closed to customers. In my opinion it should be the other way around. Customers should have access to the washrooms. Very disappointing.
This isn’t about A&W specifically but whoever drew the parking lines in this plaza needs to get sued.The burgers here were really good!
