Wow! Dinner at Weinkeller was the highlight of my night! Incredible food. So delicious. The striploin was cooked perfectly. Angela was an absolute gem. Every dish was so good. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio. Nobody at the table had a complaint. Professional service and nice atmosphere. Definitely going onto my list of favourite restaurants.
The best restaurant by far in Niagara for couples and foodies. You get an amazing amount of food for the price and each and every option is top notch. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ontario. Our server Conner was knowledgeable about the food, and he let us know what a great working environment it was. To me, that makes the difference. Treat your staff right and you'll treat your customers right. Kudos to Weinkeller. You have a life long customer! ?
Great twist on a prix fixe menu - - you can cuztomize almost any 5 items on their menu, including drinks. Only requirement is that you do pick one of their main entrées, then the other 4 items can be a mix of their salads, soup, apps, desserts or drinks! So we ended up up choosing the steak filet (had a slight upcharge) and their salmon as our mains. We had their seasonal soup, tuna ceviche and Fried Goats Cheese for our starters. The wines we selected with our meals were delicious! We had 3 choices left after eating our entrées, so we got 3 desserts - - the Fried Chocolate Wontons (served with Vanilla Ice Cream), New York Style Cheesecake, and the SemiFreddo Chocolate Mousse. Topped it all off with some Cafe Americano and we were happily stuffed! Service was excellent throughout our evening.
Service, atmosphere, food is all fantastic! Get the gnocchi. You won’t regret it.
Literally the best meal I’ve had in a restaurant, I think ever. The food was was amazing, portions excellent, service friendly and attentive. It will be a staple in my future visits to Niagara!
A delightful evening at Weinkeller - amazing food, and equally amazing service from our server Kiley. Our 5 course meal included one of the best Caesar salads we’ve had, mussels with truffle fries, oysters, carpaccio and a steak with bernaise sauce that was to die for. Truly the best meal we’ve had in Niagara Falls. Thank you Weinkeller staff - we can’t wait to return!
Simply wow!!! I am not one to write a review usually, however this is a true gem in Niagara Falls, both my husband and I agree it is the best meal we have had since our arrival in Niagara Falls. I would not hesitate to recommend. The food was cooked to perfection with a perfect balance of flavours and presentation. Great ambiance lovely traditional setting. Faultless. Visiting for husbands 50th birthday and without sounding over the top, this is a visit we will remember. Thankyou
Tried to go book for Special occasion, Moms Birthday for 4 adults.. they refuse to take phone reservations , then their booking system system says: $80 charge if you don't cancel 6 hours before (most restaurants it’s a $25 charge) and each seat is expected to pay $65...per owner .. giving my $400 business to another restaurant...
Excellent time here! The goat cheese is a must have here hands down. We had a bit of a snafu with out steak but the staff took care of us and made sure we were happy. We will definitely be back again the next time we are in town. The service is second to none!
My boyfriend and I had dinner at Weinkeller for our anniversary. We read a lot of good reviews and were told this was a “local’s gem”. We really loved our server and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. For $80 a person you get to pick 5 items off of the menu. I really loved their seasonal salad and my boyfriend liked the cheesecake. Unfortunately, our entrees were mediocre (I had the salmon and he had the filet mignon) and we thought the interior and exterior were outdated. Regardless, it seems like a great place with tons of potential but it just wasn’t for us.
