Been in Niagara Falls since Saturday.. now Thursday.. best food overall hands down!! Waitress and surroundings and food *****!!
We were visiting town and wanted a local spot, not some chain in the tourism district, so we picked the Eager Beaver.Service was very good. We were seated promptly, our server was attentive and friendly. No mistakes were made in our orders, despite several modifications.Food was mostly good. Portions were very generous. The fried fish was fresh and hot, and the taco salad was delicious. My burger was cooked properly, and tasted great. All of our fries tasted like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, though. None had that crisp, fresh feel that is so critical in a good French fry.My biggest concern was sanitation. The bathrooms were attended by swarms of flies. If you’ve ever worked in dining, you know that flies in the bathroom indicate flies in the kitchen, too. Our table was also a bit sticky. Some deep cleaning throughout is probably in order.Overall, a positive experience, but not one I feel the need to repeat during my time in Niagara.
Very nice clean place. Food is excellent. We have tried a variety of dishes and all have been done perfect and the taste was awesome.Try the perfect and always crispy onion rings with their special garlic dip, just awesome.Only complaint I have is the music being played. Constant 50 & 60s which is ok if you only go once, but if you like to be a repeat customer it gets old quick.They need to change up the music, a few 50 & 60s with some modern upbeat, updated rock, pop, metal & hip hop. Don't forget you are playing tunes for the customers.Waitresses are great as well with quick service and great smiles.Try it out.
not sure who the fry cook was yesterday sunday at 1235 but tell them not to reheat wings from last night and not expect the customer to tell the difference, dried out and tough, what a ripoff
Small place but good atmosphere…. Food was good but over cooked! Wings were really over done and hard to eat but sauces was good! Would try it again
This restaurant/bar offers great food, I love the pizza with cup and char. There is indoor and outdoor seating and they offer live entertainment on certain days. The atmosphere is good, this is a great place for the whole family. They also offer take out and delivery.
My husband and I went for dinner tonight and all I can say is this place is amazing! Our server Tammy was top notch! Very sweet and very attentive. We started out with Spinach Dip. It came out piping hot and delicious! My husband had the Beaver burger which was huge! The meat was very moist and bun nice and soft. I had the best fish and chips anywhere! The fries were fresh cut and so good!! We will definitely be back an.recommend
Waited 40 mins to get fed... no big deal, we weren't in a hurry! But we only ordered fish and chips and wings. (Busy? I get it). Fish and chips, good. Brother's hot wings, Ok. Sister-in-law's wings, crispy. She ate 2 (at a cost of $6/wing. I tried one... Pork scratchings' would be softer on the gums! (Maybe 15 mins in the fryer is a little over the top chef!) And a sports bar that only has 1 (free) sports channel showing baseball when the Canadian Open and England soccer is on ! Verdict? I would go back hoping for a better experience. It is a nice place with nice servers, if the kitchen can get its act together... best wings in Niagara Falls... NO WAY! at least not today.
I wish I took pictures. The food here NEVER disappoints!I also wish I got the name of our waitress because she was by far the best waitress we have ever had. She was a shorter woman, with short hair. 10/10 amazing service!My sister had pizza with cup and char pepperoni- she LOVED itI had a Buffalo chicken sandwich that was absolutely mouth watering.The fries tasted like fry truck fries and I think they're my favourite fries in the city.
Service - excellent !Nachos - out of this world.Calamari a rivals any high end restaurant.The beaver bread - do yourself a favour a fry it- absolute perfection.10/10 would recommend to anyone✅
