When you go to a restaurant close to the Niagara Falls, you know beforehand that is will be expensive just because of the view. And the view you get is indeed great from the patio. Since it is a grill restaurant, choices are limited to a burger or sausage. We decided to take the burger with chips. The burger itself was good, but only getting a heap of salt chips from a package (not even fresh) was a huge letdown, especially for this price. The berry spritzer was more soda than syrup and totally flavorless. Service was acceptable/polite (but not friendly), but they (including the manager) refused to accept our coupon (we took a year pass to the Falls, so got coupons) until we showed them on the website their restaurant was included. So, all in all, not a great experience and WAY overpriced
Enjoyed a wonderful delicious meal served by our new best friend Nista. She went above and beyond in all areas from insuring the steaks were cooked to perfection to making sure we had pictures with all the colors of The Falls. Her friendliness will never be forgotten. And the Hi-Lite was awesome too! Thanks for the recommendation!!
I was celebrating my wedding anniversary and decided to book a table at Table Rock House restaurant. I've done plenty of restaurants around Niagara and decided that this restaurant would provided the best view of the falls that my wife and I could enjoy. We were about 5 mins early for our reservation and upon check-in we were rudely greeted by the host Christine (larger woman, long blonde hair in a ponytail). She was the head hostess running front of house. As she was sorting out our table she told her counterpart "Put them here" to which the her counterpart replied "Really? that table?" to which Christine rudely replied "Well, where else do you want to put them! it's still technically {inaudible}". Upon hearing this exchange we mentioned it was our anniversary to which Christine responded "There's nothing else!". Upon seating though we had a very nice server named Rachel who was professional. We didn't get a great table for our anniversary and we understood that the majority of window tables were taken but we realized that if Christine had bothered to care about her job she could have checked to see which tables were clearing and we would have gladly waited the 10 extra minutes until a table was available but Christine couldn't be bothered. Rachel on the other hand was very pleasant and attentive. My wife and I had to sit on the same side of the table to get a view of the falls but we made due. Rachel did several quality checks and told us she was a student studying nursing. The service from the food expediters was quick though the food itself was just slightly above average. We both had the steak and it was cooked well but a lack of artesian flare to the execution. Most tourist restaurants provide the view but lack in the food quality. This place is slightly better than that but I still can't recommend for locals. As a final note, upon leaving the restaurant and thanking Rachel we needed to get our parking validated at the front desk where Christine was. I asked politely if she could please validate our parking and she didn't say a word other than to stick out her hand for me to hand her the ticket. She didn't ask how our experience was, didn't ask if we had a good time, didn't thank us for visiting the restaurant today, didn't wish us a good evening. She didn't say a word ... and didn't even look as us...I politely thanked her and went on my way. I understand that the Table Rock visitor centre can be a bit of a madhouse with tourist flowing in and out but that's no excuse for being rude and dismissive to customers, especially those that live close by and are repeat visitors to Niagara. I would have given the restaurant a 1/5 but Rachel was the one who truly saved this review.
Great view, great service from our waiter, food is good and restaurant is pretty Nice and clean
Could not get a better view of the Falls. Food was poor and pricey. Limited choices. If youâre just wanting to see Falls the outdoor space it just as good.
Me and my son were on a nice tour of Niagara Falls, (only 6 people total + the tour guide). This is where we had dinner. We ordered off the 3 course fixed dinner menu. The view of Horse Shoe Falls was amazing! I had tomato basil soup, eggplant and ravioli (vegetarian option), my son had Caesar Salad, steak and we both had assorted gelatos for dessert. The food was very good. Just a strange note: another man in our group also ordered the steak and he and my son were told “the chef prepares the steak medium.” Usually my son likes his steak well done, I’ve never heard that you can’t order how you want your steak cooked.
The view is terrific. Our server, Andrea, was very helpful and friendly. We had items off the price fix menu and all were good, but especially the chocolate cheese cake!
The ambience, location and view are unbeatable! The best place to see the falls and enjoy a wonderful meal. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested in making their trip to the falls memorableâ
We chose this restaurant for its magnificent view of the Falls. We had a window table, which was perfect. The mocktails were delicious and the selection of craft beer was good. Our server was pleasant and prompt. The food was good, but really just good enough for the price. While it was fresh and tasted fine, the presentation could have been better. However, our overall experience was really good and we will be coming back in a couple of weeks with family visiting from abroad.
Amazing location and we had a great seat for the 6 of us. Service a tad slow but so what we are on vacation
