First time in since COVID ended?? NOT as GOOD as I remembered. Chicken was dried out, as if cooked an hour before we got there then “heated” up just for us. Fries were 1/2 burnt with mostly small end burnt pieces. Staff were greatVery disappointed. We will not go again. Not worth the money!

I rocked the two can dine deal with my mom and sister. Each bringing home one meal for our husbands. The spring rolls were tasty, the chicken was hot and juicy, the fries and sauce were also good. Dessert was taken home. The apple pie is okay, probably would go with the pecan pie next time. The takeout dinner had a baked potato that was still decent after being reheated.I love how full and flavourful each spring roll is.

I was in here at around 7pm last night(May 14) and I was extremely disappointed with the experience I hadThe veggie burger was around 16$ and all it came with was the buns +cheese + the veggie burger.There were no condiments and no vegetables.A & W and mcdonalds put more veggies in their burger than this Swiss Chalet did.This was extremely disappointing.

Please do not support this establishment from former employee ! I worked here for about 3 months with me quitting on May first do to bullying from a manager. There are many wrong things that go on in this establishment but the most notable is allowing kitchen staff back to work while still having covid symptoms. Basically he was coughing on customers food. Disgusting! Past that the bullying started when a manager called me fat, made fun of my ethnic black hair and when forced to apologize did his best to intimidate me. Even the witness will say it was not an apology. On my last day I was scheduled to 9 and I had a flight the next day. He allowed all other takeout staff to go home early except for me, then expected me to stay late even though I had completed my closing duties. So I quit. My only regret is not going to head office to see this manager who bullies others as well be held accountable for his mean and hurtful actions and words.

The waitress messed up or food order 2 times..Brought massive corn to my table when we ordered fries and then the wrong dessert. She never asked us how we were doing during our meal and we had to keep grabbing her attention to fix the screw ups. Not a good experience.

Everyone was very pleasant and tried to make our dinner enjoyable. The service was pretty quick and the food came out piping hot, hence only four stars. My better half bit into her pierogi and got a pretty bad burn inside her mouth. The pierogis are deep fried and some of the oil was inside and squirted out and burned her gums.. she couldn’t really eat after that

We called this Swiss Chalet location & talked to the customer service rep for 20 minutes & ordered 3 - Winter Warm up bundle double chicken leg dinners. After the customer service got all the info, she told us it would cost ~$47, and one minute later, she said it actually cost $54. She did not know why the computer gave out another amount...my wife knew something was odd but confirmed that the orders were entered correctly.The orders were delivered to the hotel with 3 single chicken legs rather than 3 - Winter Warm up bundle double chicken leg as ordered. We called back right away & talked to the branch company to complaint. He told us the store manager will call us back. Store manager did call back. We told her the issues. She offered a $15 credit for the next time purchase...we told her we want our food not the credit... If not, just come & get the food back & return our money...She said there was nothing they could do because the store closes @9pm… instead of solving the issue, she hung up on us. This was unprofessional and a very unpleasant experience with this Swiss Chalet location. We do not recommend this store or location to anybody.

Walked in and proceeded with takeout. The man cashier was extremely rude, and abrupt. When I realized that as a C.AA member, there is a discount, went back after the bill was paid to ask for the discount. The tall man (manager?) told me that walk in orders receive a free app or dessert, on-line orders are 10% off the order. Asked him for the free app/dessert, he said that once the transaction has been completed, he can't re-do it. Didn't understand why he could not just provide the free app/dessert as an exception.Once we had the food, portion size of the chicken was extremely small. Two quarter chicken used to be one quarter chicken.With the terrible service from the cashier, and the inflexibility of getting the free app/dessert (cashier should have asked if I had a C.AA card- servers have asked me for this previously), and the small portion size, unsure if will continue going to Swiss Chalet.Greatly disappointed.

Chicken is extremely small now. A slice of apple pie, the saddest looking slice I’ve ever seen, was no more than a few cms thick, apples had zero flavour. And for a first time, there famous chicken soup had zero flavour. Wouldn’t return to this location.

Ordered at 3:27 PM, expected wait time was 4:02pm. I waited an hour and called their customer service, whom told me it was on the way.At 5:30PM, I still haven’t received the food and recalled the customer service only to learn that the restaurant was out of an item. They said they would send it immediately but now it’s 5:50PM, and I’m hungry writing this review.Moral of the story never trust free delivery offers because it may be free but it will never come. Hopefully the third call I’m placing will work, and I’ll get some dinner.
