Decent food at reasonable prices. Presentation could use an improvement. Server offered the bill before I was finished eating, even though the restaurant wasn't full. CAA membership will get you 10% discount.
We had dinner here after a bad experience at another establishment. We were kind of weary about it but decided to try it. Everything worked out. The food prices were reasonable. The waitress was wonderful. She was newer but we could tell she had experience. She was very busy but was still very nice. I would recommend and thank you to the owner and the waitress for the good experience. Food was great!
We got to Niagara late and did not do any research for restaurants for that night. When we saw Montana's figured we couldn't wrong. Never had a bad meal at a Montana's before. Husband ordered the burrito bowl which reminded him of the frozen rice bowls, still edible. I ordered the ribs and wings tasters. Looked good. Ribs were good, fries were luke warm. I could live with that. It all went very wrong when I bite into a wing, cut into another one with the same result. Needless to say I didn't eat another thing. I did mention it, my food was comped and offered a desert on the house which we declined. Can't ask for fairer than that. Staff were lovely, although they were under staffed. Only saw two. Although my food was comped which is great, I would rather have had a meal I paid for and could eat.Wait staff I would happily give 5 stars too. I would in reality give this restaurant 1 star, I have given three purely for the staff.
Best place in the world with the best server. Izzy deserves a promotion she's the world's best server and is 1000X better than Jacob F. The food was amazing the severe amazing what's not to like?
The experience here is what we made of it. We had great company so the 2 hours to eat wasn’t that bad. Our first order of ribs was well, well, well done and had to return to kitchen. The wait for those was long. But they were done perfectly next time. Id rather tell the kitchen their mistakes and have them rectify it than just post a bad review. The staff was new and their was a sign posted explains that. I will always give them a chance. They pulled threw and we left satisfied.
My group was seated after a minute or two by a Siberian worker (didn’t catch his name) and from there I knew our experience there was going to be amazing. I only came to realize that was an understatement after Sam, our waitress went above and beyond for us. Her positive attitude and care she gave my group made our night, and was one of the highlights of our trip up to Niagara Falls. The food was delicious and their long island iced tea, cotton candy sangria was excellently made. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for food, drinks and service that goes beyond any expectations.
Took just over an hour to get our food!! They forgot stuff had to re ask for stuff and the waitress sounded kinda annoyed of us asking. I got the pulled pork sandwhich and it was mostly chewy fat not worth the wait at all! Also the peoe I ate with say there food was also chewy with lots of fat in it!
Our table of four adults and two kids waited nearly an hour to get our order. 2 out of 3 house salads had hair in it and a medium steak came out to be well done and seemed it has been resting way longer than it should. Our waitress did her best but this was a terrible experience, and nothing was done to compensate for it. We would have chalked this one up as an isolated incident but other tables near us had just as bad, if not worse, experience judging from by the chatters going on. The cherry on top was when the time came to pay our bill, which was over $200 for our mediocre meal, when at the end of completing our bill transaction asking whether I would recommend Montana’s to my friends… the answer was crystal clear. No excuses for the establishment to give us lame excuses of the place being staffed by new staff and this particular night being very busy, well, you are in the hotspot of a very busy tourist attraction go figure that. Since when leaving hair in a dish or two and not following the order specifications had anything to do with the location being busy. The waitress, although being smiley and friendly, did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. This was probably the worst dining experience in my recent memory. Do better, a lot better and soon or you will very soon be out of business. One star is being extremely generous.
Use to come here every once in a while with friends but it's gone completely downhill. Doesn't seem like the Management has any idea how to run a restaurant. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and didn't even get the chance to order food. Asked for a manager but nobody came. The Gm guy was really good but seems like he's no longer there. Definitely hire new management!!!Unfortunately we're gonna find a new spot . Hopefully you guys get it together .
Had a rather unfortunate experience with this Montana’s and wish I did some research for dinner in the area first…. To start they had brought us out the incorrect appetizer, then when my dinner arrived the chicken salad I ordered had no chicken…. Literally NO chicken…. Then when the second appetizer we had ordered came out it was already long after dinner was served…. The server was nice enough but it really didn’t make up for the overall terrible experience that tookfar too long for a bill that wasn’t worth the expense given the poor quality of food and service. Highly suggest as a family to try another restaurant in the area to get your time and money’s worth.
