Lovely Italian restaurant near the falls. The ambiance was dimly lit with very modern decor, and very welcoming. The washrooms downstairs of the restaurant was very clean. The food itself was divine - ordered the calamari and pita with dip for appetizers and the veggie pizza. The pesto on the veggie pizza was delicious and the peach sangria was very refreshing. Overall, pleasant experience and friendly service with great food.
We had lunch here because we were very early birds and it opened at 11. Truthfully, we were expecting East Side Mario's quality with it being "casual Italian"We were VERY pleasantly surprised.Thoroughly enjoyed the food and our server did a great job.We had Arancini, Calamari, Veal Parmigiana and the waiter's recommendation, Lobster Ravioli.All were fantastic. Next time, we're going to test out that pizza oven!Will definitely be back, and highly, highly recommend.
Excellent experience at this location for the first time. Our server was Stephan and he was great! We only realized after though, that all of our entree meals were supposed to come with a side and we did not get all the sides we should have been entitled to. Aside from that, the food was delicious. I didn't get pictures of all that we ordered but I attached some for reference. My mother in law customized her pasta and the execution of it was beyond our expectations. Her pasta was easily the best and even ours straight off the menu were very tasty too. We will definitely be back! (And we will make sure we get our sides too! Ha!)
Relished a set lunch that’s being featured on the Restaurant Week on the lane. The food presentation and portion was great, while the taste was authentic. This place is a true gem! So happy to have found Johnny Rocco's. I have ordered their large charcuterie platter, seafood platter and cannoli kit. The cannoli kit was soooo much fun! And the seafood platter was above and beyond what I imagined. It was packaged and delivered with such care on ice. My fiance's jaw dropped and he said "WOW!" when it arrived! Wish I had taken a picture at the time to show how beautiful it was!Update:Went in last Thursday for lunch for the first time and really enjoyed the pizza and the chicken Milano!
My wife and I often dine here, but I wanted to compliment our excellent waiter, Somil, who did an absolutely perfect job throughout our meal. I've eaten in a few 3-star Michelin restaurants (in Monte Carlo and Paris) and not had better service. This young man is REALLY good! And, as usual, the food was top notch. Johnny Rocco's represents a great choice for anyone staying on Fallsview Blvd. that would like to avoid the high prices there (and lack of affordable parking) in the tourist area. It's only a few minutes away to Johnny Rocco's and you'll be glad you made the trip.
Very good service! Food was hot and very good! We had wedding soup and chicken wings. Portions were nice. We will go back again soon!
We had a super amazing meal and experience. The waitress did a great job getting everything our party of 9 needed. She had our order timed perfectly for having 4 hungry little ones and all the appetizers, entrées and desserts. I'd recommend going a bit before true dinner time as it did get very busy as we were leaving but that just indicates everyone must have had a previous experience like ours. Thanks for everything!
We went to Niagara Falls for the Family Day long weekend and this came up among the top ten places where locals eat, so we decided to dine here. Nathan, our server, was friendly and efficient. He brought the order of our food in a timely manner, and we didn’t have to wait for our food at all. Food was amazing! Everything we ordered were scrumptious- from the calamares, pizzas and pasta! Prices were reasonable and worth it! Servings were shareable. Highly recommended! Would definitely go back there.
We ordered Ribeye steak, it was amazing, served with vegetables & pasta. Tomato soup along with freshly baked bread & olive oil with balsamic vinegar was also very delicious.Very hospitable service and classy ambiance, we certainly had a great time ..!!!
