Love the food, fresh and nice ambiance
Everyone was happy with their orders! Must have is their soft shell crab appetizer. We ordered 2! The sushi is very fresh and the hot dishes are all cooked to perfection.
If you are a Japanese Canadian (or just someone who loves Japanese food) and want authentic food in Niagara, this is your spot. Everything about this small cosy restaurant is what I had been missing so much being away from my mom’s own home cooking. Hot and healthy delicious food, amazingly kind people, and nostalgic music always playing. I will recommend this place to anyone. And I will definitely be back :)
I found this hidden gem coincidentally!Sushi was very fresh and this bowl was a great combination of various fish.I liked white tuna, salmon and mackerel especially. I didn’t feel any unpleasant fishy taste or smell. My partner had eel bowl and it was sooooo great too!!It was the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had recently!! Will be there again ????
The food is really authentic. The restaurant is hygienic. The portion is small compare to standard western food but as Japanese menu, I think the portion is just right. The wasabi is not instant wasabi, it's fresh which made a big difference! I like especially the tempura. The california rolls were a bit small and loose.
Looked up this restaurant on Google and made reservations via the Chat feature. Response was almost immediate and very accommodating. Front reception was pleasant and friendly. Restaurant was about half full and it was just enough for us to safe during these covid times. Servers were cheerful and pleasant. Food was quick to be served and delicious. Prices are excellent. This restaurant is in the Niagara Falls tourist area so prices can be very expensive so I feel that the prices are very reasonable here compared to what you can pay here at many of the other restaurants. Parking is free and located right beside/behind the restaurant. Definitely would eat here again!
A vlock away from the high tourist areas for some genuinely amazing Japanese food cooked with passion. Do not pay $20+ at a chain place on the hill for a mediocre meal, walk 3 minutes for something genuinely good! We took 3 bottles of homemade dressing away with us.
Good value and presentation for the location I suppose. The rolls pretty good the sashimi a little disappointing.
