It’s been years since I’ve been to a Hard Rock Cafe and wanting to relax and have a drink in an immensely touristy area, I thought this would be the place for one.I was with my niece visiting from Italy so I thought this would be an added bonus given she was interested in seeing more of the tourist traps. After ordering an old fashioned we scanned the menu in detail looking for something that would satisfy our need for food.Although I was really leaning towards the bbq bacon burger, we decided on the NY Strip Steak with fries and string peas.Medium was the request but only because my niece would want to share some.Otherwise medium rare is my preference.Surprisingly, after my first bite, I must say I enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the steak. It had a few small chewy pieces, but nothing worth complaining about. The fries were crisp and the vegetables were not over cooked.I recommend this place for a quick stopover when craving some decent ‘bar’ food.
We paid 75 dollars for 3 beers and 2 regular poutines that were the size your child would get at their high school cafeteria. I felt embarrassed for the server handing those portions and that bill over. A 10 dollar tip and that was a pathetic dinner nearing 100$. Decor was nice. I'd trade that for portion and price any day. I will never return.
Very accommodating. We booked for 5pm but needed to reschedule for 6pm. They accommodated no problem. Also, brought the little kids food out before the adults. Great server. Just a little loud though.
Went there for dinner, hostess attempted to seat myself and a friend at a table next to an entire group consisting mainly of children. I felt I would have been unable to enjoy myself and talk freely. I expressed this to the host and she asked if we would be ok with a high top, I said that would be fine. The bartenders serve the high tops, which can be a problem sometimes when they get busy, but our server/bartender was fantastic. I am disappointed I didn’t get her name as I usually do! She gave us recommendations not only on drinks but food as well! Everything came out and had beautiful presentation. Was disappointed in the flavorless green beans though, would not recommend. Was looking for a healthier option than fries but wasn’t trying to go the typical salad route, next time I’ll go salad. Overall great experience very little wait time!
My son wasn’t a fan of the pulled pork and they switched out for a grilled chicken. No extra cost. ??????
This was fun - the service was great! The grilled chix Caesar salad and potato skins were good...but the kidâs chicken tenders were awful, almost inedible, all gristly and gross. Itâs a classic place but you donât really go for the food.
While or server was very nice, just found the food not worth the price point.
Honestly I was expecting more ambience! I had been to a Hard Rock Cafe before and I was expecting the manicans with the musicians and more music paraphernalia. I just didn't feel that vibe here. Portions were huge which was great, but wish I knew how big the the nachos were before ordering. It was pricey but maybe that is normal for Niagara Falls. Server was awesome!
