This is the first time since before the pandemic started that I ordered food from the Far East. I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious, plenty of food for what I ordered. I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, orange chicken (my favourite), chicken fried rice, and chicken chow mien. Very enjoyable and enough left over for lunch tomorrow!
My only go to for Chinese food. Chicken fried rice is the best?Update. Very rude delivery driver. When I answered the door I said hey, "How ya doin". He didn't respond. Just ubruptly said the price of the bill. There goes most of your tip. Made a comment on how he didn't like the tip. Told him to leave.
We have been going to Far East for years now. We now drive from Thorald to get it. The quality of the food and portions has never changed. Decent prices. Still loving it everytime.This original post is getting old however the food quality and great service is the same. Amazing as always and still our go to place.
This is where I get Chinese takeaway when I'm craving some great Chinese food. Never disappointed, always great!! Thanks to everyone at far east for being amazing!!
Horrible experience, tonight I ordered lemon chicken and it was so unappealing it looked like fish. It was soggy, the chicken was tough not tender, caked with oil on it. We called the restaurant to see if they can switch it out with something else and she no I can’t do that for you and was very rude about it. We asked to change it out for sesame chicken and she said no we can’t do that because it’s not the same price. What a greedy family!! Won’t be ordering back here again!
I have been a long time customer. Not sure what happened but it was absolute rubbish! They forgot something in the order(mistakes happen) I spoke with the owner (she was rude) She asked if I wanted the item delivered and I replied yes please, and she hung up on me. Not even an apology!! This is not the same Far East I used to rave about ?
Ordered takeout for New Years dinner. Ordering process was smooth and quick. Given that it’s probably the busiest day of the year for their restaurant, pick up was a breeze and the food was delicious. Tremendous value for $$. Highly recommend!
Good Food, Poor ServiceWhen we ordered at 4:30p.m. for an order that you said wouldn’t be ready till 8:30p.m. we were ok with that as we knew it was going to be a busy night. We arrive at the restaurant and then told that it’s going to be another hour on top of the 4 hour wait that you initially told us?! Sorry, but that’s just B.S. Lots of other Chinese Food restaurants in the city. You’ve been permanently replaced.
We ordered here for New Years Eve. We waited over an hour for the best Chinese food. Well worth the wait, excellent service and food quality was fantastic on this hectic night.Thank you!
Messed up on our order. Brought it home when we realized. Had to go back ..they made sure we returned everything before Getting our order as if they are going to give the order to waitung customers. Terrible if they did as we had the food out on our table when we realized it was wrong.No apologies for waisting our time .Food was average at best .
