Drinks were so so. Over priced for what they were. But thinking it's more a whiskey and beer bar so.those probably great. Atmosphere was nice. The patrons were nice. Great music.my big thing that would stop me from coming back. Was the customer service. The waitress was very nice when she got to us. But for me it is frustrating when I see u attend to three tables near me and yet take forever to acknowledge. We were there 11-1 and took forever to get drinks .
The luck of the Irish was shining down on us and it illuminated a path to Doc Magilligan's. This was our last stop on our trip. Just a short drive from the touristy area near the Falls. We were greated and taken care of by the wonderful Michelle who made us feel so welcomed. Our food was delicious but the star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding. It came out so moist and had me cursing obscenities because it was so damn good. Next time I'm in the area I'll make sure I order dessert first. Thanks Michelle for the wonderful Sticky surprise!
Came here for a friends birthday. It has a cool ambiance compared to other bars. The curtains made dinner feel more private. Started with some drinks. I had the strawberry daiquiri with rum. It was delicious. They were also able to make a mock-tail for my friend who doesn’t drink, which was awesome. We shared a few appetizers, and had an entree each. The onion rings and Irish nachos were delicious as well, and fairly generous portions. Enough for all 5 of us to share, and still have a few left over. I had the poutine as an entree. It was great. Had bacon and cheese curds in it! Prices were reasonable overall. Will be back again!
visited lastnight for the 1st time. we went to have a couple of drinks after dinner. beautifully decorated (esp the bar!!) we didn't realize that there was going to be a live band playing. the Postmen were playing. They were amazing! been years since we thoroughly enjoyed a live band. they played a huge variety of music, had everyone up and dancing. the atmosphere was phenomenal. we ordered a couple of appetizers, food was good. service was phenomenal. we will definitely be going back next time we are in town.
The ambience is good. The quality and quantity of the food was good too. But my wife found a piece of hair in her dish and when asked they took the dish away but asked to pay extra for a new dish. We did not take a new dish and they took it off our bill. We expected a new dish as my wife was not done with her meal. We also expected at least a formal apology, instead they consoled us with a piece of a cake as a dessert. I felt they were understaffed that day and we were also told that the manager was not onsite. After all these I ended up paying a 10% tip just to be fair and considerate from our end. Probably I would pass going there again.
Everything about Doc MacGilligan’s and The Best Western Complex is phenomenal!!! Ken Ahern and his staff at Doc’s is second to none!! The food and the atmosphere are incredible and you won’t find a friendlier, hard working staff. As a matter of fact, everyone working in the restaurant and hotel are top notch. I highly recommend this place to everyone!! Cheers!!

My Family and I love to eat here. Have been many many times and not only is the atmosphere pretty awesome but the food is delicious. We've never had a bad meal...literally tried almost everything on the menu....Our fave is the Boxty's...the Nachos and the Lobster Mac n cheese...oh and the Chicken is fabulous too!
We happening to be stayinging in this hotel on St Paddy's day so it's only fitting we have dinner at the Irish pub on site. We ordered the Corn beef melt sandwich and Corn beef and Cabbage dinner. We also ordered green beer and another drink. The beer was good but the dinners were absolutely amazing. So tasty and the meat was perfectly prepared and tender. Thoroughly enjoyed our food
This is the best kept secret for breakfast in Niagara Falls. We had an excellent breakfast with great a great server. We smile when we drove by breakfast places with people standing outside. We always have walked right in and have never been disappointed with the food. Thank you Michelle H for looking after us and giving us good suggestions. Great call on the eggs Benny.
