Came here for the first time, Even though it was Monday the restaurant was full. But there was no issue in the food and service. Really appreciate it. The food was really delicious ordered dhai Bhalla, lamb seekh kabab, mix chat, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, garlic naan and gulab jamun. Only thing we didn’t like was gajrela.
Yesterday was my Birthday, and my dad had surprised me by taking me to an Indian restaurant called Chef of India. We have passed this place multiple times but never tried it till last night. The food was amazing, the service was excellent! I don’t know the name of the waitress we had last night but she was the sweetest lady I have ever met. We definitely will be back again! Thank you for an excellent time for my Birthday!! ??
I've been searching everywhere for the paneer butter masala and finally found it here. It's the first time I've actually enjoyed indian cuisine. It was really expensive for the small portion and strange that they would not give any bit of rice or naan with it, but i had been looking anyway so its alright.
Chef of India offers a large menu of authentic, excellently prepared Indian dishes with efficient and friendly takeout during the lockdown. Highly recommended!
Pretty good Indian restaurant, just across the border. We stopped by for lunch after crossing into Canada. They did check our vaccination cards, and you have to wear a mask when not eating. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good,with lots of vegan options. Be sure to specify if you don't want spicy. Prices are reasonable. Restrooms are older, but clean. I enjoyed it and would go back. Recommended, give it a try!
First time visiting and wow! Don't judge by how the restaurant looks. It's a bit off the beaten path, small family style set up. Hands down the beat authentic Indian food I have had. Flavours are amazing! We will definitely be returning! Give it a try for sure!
I would leave 0 STAR if i could. We feel unsafe as they are not checking any Vaccine records specially in this time . Even staff was not wearing Masks . No attention towards Health & Safety .. MORE OVER they are charging $3 for using Restroom. How discussting it is even the Washroom was dirty and messy not maintained properly . Useless Customer Services..Worst Experience.!!
The best place to eat fresh and soft naan.. no one can beat them..Chicken khurchan is just amazing...Try there mutton too...I don't come to visit Niagara but I come here to eat there food and just glance at Niagara
We had a very good experience here. Our server gave us some direction on the dishes. The place was busy and our food arrived in good time. There were many locals enjoying a meal, that tells you something. It’s worth getting off the beaten path to enjoy a meal here. It’s one block north of Ferry st on Magdalen st across from the Sterling Inn.
Styrofoam plates, seriously? This place used to be decent but post covid it has gone down hill i am local but i will not go back and dine in disposable containers.
