We love Carson's. We come every couple weeks to get some pizza and wings. Honey hot wings are fantastic and the pizza has a great crust and generous toppings.
My greatest thanks to the people who run this business, and my thanks to the readers who will appreciate this review:I ordered a Chicago deep dish style pizza as a recommendation from my Chef at work, and I must say one thing:AWESOME!!!!!I have not had such a simplistic yet truly original Chicago style pizza in MANY years... A true deep dish pizza is not one that is built upon a 3 inch crust, but one that is created like a lasagna in pizza form, carefully cooked in a cast iron oven pan... finely crisping the crust, and slow baking the rest of the pie...And that is precisely what this incredible business has accomplished!Every detail of perfection of what I have ordered has seemingly been accomplished!The deep dish was carefully created in layers, flavours, and 100% satisfaction to both myself and my dinner guests...The sauce on the pie was absolutely gourmet, the toppings which we ordered were a basic Canadian tradition of pepperoni, mushrooms and bacon, and the delight of the parmesan cheese as a final touch was an outstanding compliment!Bravo to the gentlemen running this establishment! I truly cannot wait to come back for another gratifying experience!Thank you very much for the best take out experience in the Niagara region I have ever had!
We came in from Toronto for a 2 day getaway. We ordered the Chicago deep dish, and the Duck Fries. Both were so delicious. We'll definitely be ordering from Carson's Pizzeria again. Highly recommend.
We grab slices here multiple times a week. The pizza is always great! Highly recommend. Great staff and great owners.
I drove 30 mins each way for this chicago style deep dish, its like a pizza lasagna! I ordered on Sunday Jan 16th in the evening and the staff was excellent!! I will definitely be back!
I've had really good slices and really bad slices. The people making the good pizza should be teaching the people making bad pizza how to make good pizza. $8.50 for two small slices that seem like they've been sitting on the slice rack for 2 days is pretty nutso
Really, really great pizza and I’m not really a pizza lover but if I am going to have it, this is the type I want to eat. We stayed at the Sheraton hotel and ordered delivery. It did take about an hour and a half to be delivered but that can be expected as they are busy. The pizza was absolutely delicious. We ordered the tray pizza with mozzarella, thin crust (default) size which was the perfect thickness as you want to taste the toppings and not feel like you’re eating a loaf of bread when eating pizza, and it was topped with the cup and char pepperoni which was a first for me and I’m so happy I tried it! It was crispy and had a little spice and a lot of flavour, really good pepperoni. The tomato sauce was also perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness which you want in a great tomato sauce. The buffalo and honey garlic wings were crispy and not over dressed and were perfectly cooked. Also ordered a Cesar salad which was also delicious. When we come back to Niagara for a visit we will definitely order from this pizza place again. You can tell when a restaurant takes pride in the quality of the ingredients they use and how they cook the food. The girl who took my order over the phone was also very polite and easy to talk to which made the whole experience wonderful! Give this place a try if you want to have a quality pizza made with fresh and delicious ingredients.
Wings under seasoned meat but the toppings were good. The crust of the pizza was good but the base was soggy. Not as much cheese as a typical Chicago pie but enough for a good meal and generous with the toppings.
I lived in Chicago for over 15 years and I've been searching the Niagara Region for a decent Deep Dish Pizza. There was one place that closed up some 4+ years ago so when a friend suggested this place for deep dish I was cautiously optimistic. I tried their deep dish tonight and they knocked it out of the park. It was VERY authentic. I'll definitely be ordering from there again.
Ordered a deep dish , it was delicious, the crust was crisp and light .. and the regular pizza was perfectly cooked with just the right almost of ingredients
