4 years ago we were at this location for a completely different experience as the restaurant was under a different name.This time was definitely extremely disappointing. We were not sure if this was a convenience store or a restaurant. It's a chicken place now and you can tell all the food served was previously frozen. Will not be coming back.
Not sure what has gone on with this restaurant, in the last few months, but what used to be a nice experience has disappeared, What used to be nice, now just seems like a dirty hole. Disgusting. Not clean and no customer service at all. These people should not be in the restaurant business. So disgusted and turned off we couldn't get out fast enough and if the eating area is that filthy, then I hate to even think how the cooking area is. Completely and utterly disappointed. They should throw in the towel on this one. One star is one too many, but you can't post without clicking a star.
Sad to hear about the sale of your business; our go-to breakfast spot. Their steak & egg breakfast is amazing & their deep fried french toast was awesome, as well! The young man we had every time was great & very prompt.Really sad to see you guys go ): will need to find a new breakfast spot..
This is such a hidden gem of a restaurant. Normally when we visit the falls we generally eat at restaurants closer to the falls but last summer we wanted to explore bit of other side of Niagara and we are glad that we did. First of all this restaurant has a great pirate theme atmosphere. Burgers and Poutine we tried tasted amazing. As someone that loves cheese it was great to see how much cheese they put on everything! Definitely coming back.
I've been here a few times before and this time was as amazing as before. The waitress is really sweet as everyone mentioned but she suddenly turned sour after we paid the bill. Not sure why, we left a decent tip so it was strange. But the food is delicious. It takes a long time for food to be ready, esp considering what a simple dish it is, but that's alright. There's free coffee refills and a lot of free jam. We always have a good experience here.
We just had the broasted chicken for take-out and it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Period. It was only $27.00 for a 9 piece which is a steal. If you love yourself some good broasted chicken TRY THIS PLACE.
Had a wonderful time at Buried Treasure. Took a group eleven for breakfast and our server Matt did an amazing job and believe me when I say my family can be a bit much. He was very attentive and the food was great. Collectively the entire group agreed Matt was awesome and we would definitely return again.
Excellent experience. The idea if a half-size Caesar salad is something a lot more places should offer, it was just right. Good amount of chicken on it, nice patio, pleasant staff, 2 thumbs up!
We stopped in here for a late dinner on a Friday and the place wasn’t very busy. The waitress was super nice and I could tell she was overworked because it was only her. However, she did a great job, and the food was so good. I’m surprised there wasn’t more people there. If it was in a different location, I’m sure it would be a hit. I am from out of town, but will be back for more!
