What a wonderful place! Lots of choices, haven’t hit a bad one yet. Jerk chicken is probably my favourite, but have basically tried the whole menu, and it’s all great. Lots of Patties to choose from.
Easily my favourite carribean food place. Everything is made fresh and absolutely delicious(even their patties). Been going here for years, staff is very friendly, and prices are very fair.
The patties are not good, as is the case in some other reviews, they just taste strange. A real Jamaican patty, is typically bursting with flavour. These ones are bland, and almost taste like the cardboard box they come in
Just pulled up for a quick lunch! Never been here before - had two orders of Jerk (small and large - portions were awesome), couple of chicken curry Pattie’s - everything was awesome \\u0026 ready fast !
Website says Tuesday open to 7pm.Store says otherwise… I pulled a locked door and looked into a dark business.If you are going to change hours then ok but it’s not hard to update your website. Get it together. The GTA doesn’t work on island time.Update to this… I did manage to try the food another day. Ordered Roti and got soup. Leaked all over my car seats. Then broke a plastic knife trying to cut the water logged roti shell. Absolute disaster. My perforated seats soaked up the curry and now my car has perpetual curry smell. Management was really nice about everything but that doesn’t change the product or the outcome.If there’s that much liquid in the product and that’s what you want, then consider putting a layer of rice into the box first to absorb it.
I recently purchased a box of patties and Jerk chicken from here. Unfortunately no one likes the patties, they have an unusual taste, some spice that is not in regular patties. We did not like them. The jerk chicken and rice and peas tasted OK, portions were small, but definitely not the best that i have had, its better than the patties though.
One of the most unappetizing beef patties I have ever had. Pastry is flaky, however the inside was mushy, and lacked flavor other than the overwhelming taste of thyme. If you want to be hit by a thyme bomb. Definitely get your patties here. Otherwise look elsewhere for a better option.
I went this afternoon on a Saturday afternoon and purchased Jerk Chicken Patties and Curry Goat.Both dishes were awful ?.This place is very overpriced and not worth it.Don’t come here.
I went to tweedys to pickup 2 beef patties, and coco bread for my mother and I.the server was super nice and welcoming the patties were also seasoned well, nice variety of drinks available.I will say though I wish there was just slightly more filling in the patty, I would also skip the coco bread it was pretty stale.I recommend this place if your looking for a quick and cheap bite!
Great food, but their rotis don't travel well. Despite asking for it to be extra dry, i.e. no gravy, by the time I get home, usually 10 mins, the chicken roti is soggy.?
