My workplace decided to get sushi for lunch today and I made sure we picked the best spot in town! This place has the nicest staff and the best sushi in Newmarket (trust me I’ve been to every restaurant currently open in Newmarket) we gave them short notice for a large order for 20 people and they delivered on time and professionally! Nothing was forgotten or rushed and everything tasted amazing. We initially thought something was missing (It ended up being a mistake on our end) and not even 10 minutes after telling them everything was worked out over the phone they hand delivered another order of what we thought was missing just in case! I wish I could give it more stars this place is a hidden gem in Newmarket. Will is the best, If you have any problems he is always happy to fix them or help out in any way he can.
Number 1 restaurant for charging the most amount of money for the lowest quantity of food. I ordered one dynamite sushi for $8.99!!! Thinking it's gonna be 6 pieces at least. But no it was 4 pieces. Who charges 9 dollars for 4 pieces of sushi. The sushi was supposed to have shrimp in it and they put so little shrimp in there that all you taste is the rice and the sauce. Never ordering from here again.
Had the worst dining in experience.My husband and I came in with 2 kids who were hungry and so we chose to do all you can eat as experience shows its the quickest service. Ordered within first minute of arriving. Did not worry at first since we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food started to come in 40 minutes later, and only hot food that we cannot even give to the kids. During this time, myself and the kids were wondering around since no-one offered us anything to keep the kids busy. When I touched a fake Dollarama flower in a vase, a tall Asian guy AGGRESSIVELY yelled at me "DO NOT TOUCH!" We continued waiting, but at this point I wasn't hungry anymore. 55 minutes later we still did not have the small 1st order that my husband made, I did not make my order at all occupying the kids and no-one giving us the menu. Plates were not served long after the food came and the floor was really dirty with food under our table considering we are the only customers. We had to get up and leave and take out food that was brought, however we were still charged for 2 All- you- can- eat even though this was nothing of the experience nor the order. The food was terrible and we had to drive through to order elsewhere. Would never wish upon any mother/father this type of service.
We always order from them and sushi are amazing! Went in for a dinner with a friend and we had to wait forever for a waiter. Food was as usual really good.I’m guessing they are understaffed (can’t blame honestly with all the closures).
Pork bento accompanied with maki (avocado & cucumber) & spring roll: weird but ok... Pork not pork cutlet but fried pork pieces. Tonkatsu sauce ok - a bit harsh. All components of the dish were ok.
The side salad had an onion salad dressing that was very fragrant: zesty & very tasty. The miso soup was so so.
Spicy salmon roll (in picture) was good, with crispy salmon. It wasn't spicy. Spicy dynamite roll was pretty good.Sashimi on rice used good fish that had a very buttery flavour.
Very misleading outside. The owner is friendly and the food quality was good. Don't let the run down look of the outside dissuade you in this situation.
Just had steak teriyaki and it was amazing! Will took extreme care to make sure it was cooked to our preference and arrived perfectly cooked and delicious! Thanks will!
Best sushi in town. Hands down. The food is always top notch and price is exceptional.
