I spent most of the morning and afternoon at Sunnyside Grill while I waited for my car to be fixed. The staff were very pleasant and had no issue with me occupying a table to set up my laptop for work. I had French toast and coffee for breakfast and a corned beef on rye sandwich for lunch. Service was great, the food was very tasty and generous in portion size, and prices were very reasonable. The coffee could use improvement in my opinion, but I tend to prefer a milder coffee. The restaurant is clean, spacious, has lots of tables and many windows to let in the bright sunshine. I will definitely return to try something else. Support local business!
We arrived at this breakfast place at exactly 12:00pm on a Sunday and noticed they were not that busy as only a couple of the tables were occupied. We gave in our order 10 minutes after we arrived however we were not served our food until 1:40pm. After about an hour we asked our server how long the wait would be as we would’ve been fine paying for our coffee and going elsewhere. The server said about 10 minutes which we would not have minded at all. That 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes turned into another hour. We waited nearly 2 hours for 3 servings of eggs and were given no explanation or apology for the outrageous wait. We did however notice they kept accepting Uber eats orders which took priority over their waiting tables. The cutlery and cups were stained and dirty and the place was highly under staffed. Overall, would recommend visiting one of the MANY other locally owned establishments nearby as opposed to here.
We started coming here about a month ago and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant is clean, the cook and waitress are amazing and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.
This restaurant offers lovely atmosphere which is fully supported by amazing services and fantastic foods. It took me so much of effort to stop drinking coffee after pots after pots and to put my cutlery down with overloaded stomach. I’m so glad that dinning-in is finally back!

Jan 7 th coming back from Toronto after seeing my son for his birthday, I stopped for a brunch at Sunnyside Grill. Due to Covid-19 at that time I could not sit down. The owner was behind the grill by himself. As a First time customer I received one of the most friendly welcomes from Toke the owner. We chatted and I ordered a western to go, delicious by the way, So today sat feb 12th I went back with my parents and my son for breakfast. Once again a wonderful welcome and staff is back too. The business is very clean. Staff super friendly. Very good layout with booths and seating with window views. The menu is superb. The pricing is good. And the food was very tasty. I’d like to wish Toke and is family much success in the future. Great meal and we shall be back.
