We dined in and had the Omakase. This quaint little spot has some of the most delicious and fresh sushi and fish you will find in Newmarket. It was so delicious, and we left feeling fantastic. Experience was lovely, we will definitely be back for more!

This restaurant is located on Davis Drive but you have access to the back parking via Hill St., then come to the front entrance. It’s a small but very cozy restaurant and you feel the warm vibe when you go inside. It was my 2nd visit and I enjoyed it as the first one that was many years ago.Everything is made from fresh ingredients. And it seems the owner is doing everything there, including taking your order, preparing the food, cashing out and even getting order by phone? He surprised us by saying welcome in our mother language ?.We tried Asahi (as the traditional beer) and Plum Wine that was very sweet (so I recommend it to people who likes very sweet drinks).Tuna Sashimi and Avocado Salad as an Appetizer, were very fresh and delicious. The Assorted Tempura was very delightful and tasty but it came very late even after our second time main order.Red Dragon and Spider Roll maki were good and big, they come at 8 pieces. I liked Red Dragon better than Spider Roll.I really enjoyed my time there ?.

The best/authentic Japanese cuisine I have ever experienced in Canada. This is not your typical North American sushi joint. The level of care they put in their food is phenomenal. My entire family loves it!

The worst restaurant experience in my life. I can’t believe the horrible service we received from the owner. He was very rude, hostile, raising his voice and just wouldn’t stop, all of that as a reaction on my asking politely for disposable bamboo chopsticks for my husband and I. I can’t rate the food because the owner didn’t give us a chance to even try it by make a big scene. We were shocked, very uncomfortable and had to leave. The food is very overpriced for the amount. The place looked dirty, so I am glad we didn’t eat the food. The owner needs help with his anger management and needs to learn basic communication skills. Save your nerves, health and money and go somewhere else.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Terrible attitude of the owner. We’ve asked for a bamboo chopsticks instead of whatever was in the table. That’s apparently triggered the guy. He started raising his voice and start making a really big scene. My wife and I start feeling really uncomfortable and left. I don’t let people like that to ruin my weekend. But we are not coming to this place no more that’s for sure. Too bad there is no option to give a 0 star. They don’t even deserve 1. Stay away from this place. Spend your money somewhere else.

Let me start off by saying that the fish they serve was very fresh and pleasant, the fish itself was a 5 star. However, the sushi rice was too soft and mushy to my liking. Therefore I have to deduct one star. Also, for a Bento that's over 51 dollars it just contained normal fish like salmon, tuna and yellow tail. No uni, or sweet shrimp, or anything out of the ordinary. Although the tuna was blue fin so I won't deduct a point on that.

I have been having sushi for 10 years in many places. I had the best experience here. Best food, very kind owner, chef and waiter. Amazing!

I've eaten here twice and each time was heavenly. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served quickly and politely. It's worth every penny. As great sushi demands, all flavours were clean and light, with delightful little pops of texture (e.g. roe) and fizz (wasabi). Please support this wonderful restaurant!

Miso soup was good. It was not heavy & had a fresh flavour. The salad was pretty good. It had a mixture of greens. The dressing was good: zesty.

Unagidon was good. There was quite a lot of eel. Chirashidon was good too: the pieces of sashimi were big (not the usual smaller random pieces). It was good quality sashimi.
