I've tried their croissants and coffee at first and had to come back for others. Croissants are so fluffy and crispy that melts in your mouth in seconds. Their almond cookies are the best in town that my husband and I constantly crave. Their veal sandwiches and pasta are good but I found the veal cutlet a bit tough to chew but non the less great tasting!
We had catering service for the first time from Mercato on Main for our son’s communion this weekend. Joe and his team were amazing with high quality food and great customer service. Even during a severe thunderstorm, they were able to deliver an exceptional meal. Shout out to Chef Nicole who came out of the kitchen to connect with us. I would highly recommend their hot table and pastries! Our guests were raving about the food days after the event. Will definitely order again!

One of the best Cappuccino's I've tasted!!!! Love the layout of the store - Fresh breads, pastries, Italian biscotti, and of course, a beautiful deli section. A must visit. Nice seating area for dates and/or family night. Definitely will visit again and tell all my friends!!! Thank you for the great service!
Great cappuccino and delicious croissants. Their hot table food is really good too. Lastly, the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable experience. You can choose to eat in or take out. In milder times of the year there is a patio or outdoors eating option in case you are not vaccinated.
Food and desserts are super fresh and delicious. We tried the Godiva double chocolate cheesecake, lemon lavender cheese cake and mango berry cheesecake. The lasagna was cheesy and delicious.
Visiting Newmarket from Peel region. Breakfast place we selected was no longer allowing in person dining. Happen to notice Mercato on Main.A truly delightful place. Tried several croissants. All tasty. Had never tried pistachio croissant. So tasty. Americano and While flat was made to perfection.Loved the place so much. Bought more to take home.
