Fantastic food! Fantastic service! Glad we found our way back to Luna!!
This was our fourth visit and our fourth outstanding meal and experience. Melanie and her husband go as far as they can to make everyone's experience as enjoyable as possible, as does the Chef too. I highly recommend making a reservation as soon as possible!
The food was very good and the staff was very attentive and engaging. Truly a gem. When we pulled up to the restaurant we were unaware of what to expect as the restaurant is situated in a very unassuming strip plaza. The decor inside the restaurant is very nice but what impressed us was the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Melanie and Dom were very friendly and met our every need. The red wine was served at the right temperature. We will definitely be returning.
The owners of this restaurant are amazing. They are very welcoming and super friendly. The food was outstanding too. Will definitely go back again.
We decided on Luna for my husband’s birthday dinner based on rave reviews in a local Facebook group and had one of our best dining out experiences ever! Every dish had incredible flavours, the service was super friendly and efficient, and they even brought a complimentary dessert and sang happy birthday. We could see that many of the customers were ‘regulars’ and I completely understand why! Highly recommend you go here - you won’t be disappointed!
We came here based on reviews and were not disappointed. The food is fantastic! It's real food made from scratch and obviously with care. Really great and friendly service, an elegant restaurant but not at all pretentious. It's too bad it's tucked away in a strip mall though, they deserve a better location!
This family run restaurant priorities are quality of their food and impeccable service! Husband and wife run the front of the house without missing a beat, they enlisted the help of their son to ensure that our event ran smoothly. 26 guests in total and not one incorrect meal was served, each appetizer drink order and steak was perfect! Not even the KEG gets every single order correct so this speaks how well this restaurant is ran. Every dish was very tasty with lots of flavor that will surely please every foodies pallet. The true Italian family feel that Mel and Dom bring to their restaurant is why we keep coming back! If YOU'RE looking for a place where everybody will treat you like family THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
I had a surprise birthday celebration for my husband yesterday at Luna Ristorante. It was FANTASTIC!! From the moment I contacted Melanie, she ensured all if my plans would be perfect.We had it in their event room in the back. 25 people. Here is a pic of the table setup.We had a preset menu and had everyone choose the food ahead of time. We had arranged seating which coordinated with the orders so the service was like clockwork. Cassie and Katrina were our servers and were so great with everyone.Needless to say … the food at Luna Ristorante was delicious. Everyone commented on how great it was. I was too preoccupied and forgot to take pictures ?♀️Thank you Melanie and Dom and the staff for making this a great celebration.Luna Ristorante is most definitely a favourite restaurant in the Newmarket and Aurora area. If you haven’t experienced this place yet… please try it out. If you have already… go back again soon … it’s alway a great experience.
Had dinner there last night and can’t rave enough about this place. The only thing better than the fantastic food were the hosts. Such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s obvious the owners love what they do! Thank you for a wonderful evening and the limoncello.
This was our second time eating at Luna and we were just as delighted as our first experience. The Frito Misto was delicious and the shrimp were massive. I ordered the Veal Marsala again - it’s soooo amazing that I can’t imagine trying anything else. My husband had a pasta special with beef and it was excellent, too. Will definitely return again.
