Tried the kitchen based on other reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food truly was. Crisp, fresh, and never soggy. They have yet to short us on meat or seafood portions, always stuffing the take out containers to the point of bursting. It has now become a regular stop for take out when we're passing through New Market.
It came recommended to me so we gave it a try....Im so glad we did! Food was great, service was great, prices we're very reasonable and food portions were pretty generous. Im confident in saying that Hong Kong Kitchen will be our new "go-to" place.
We decided to try Hong King Kitchen yesterday for lunch and were very pleased. The two beef mixed vegetables combos and the breaded shrimp combo came with rice, chicken balls, and an egg roll. We also added a great egg foo young to share. The batter on the chicken balls and shrimp was nicely prepared. There was plenty left over for lunch the next day. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and we look forward to ordering from Hong Kong Kitchen again.
Amazing taste! First time trying and will for sure be back. Great prices and huge quantities. Even have specials for cash and pick up that you see inside the restaurant.

I’ve been coming to this place for 5 years! This family opened business is very friendly and offers the best food. I recommend anyone in the area to check this restaurant out!
Long time customer but fairly disappointed recently. Arbitrary upcharges to meal items that the menu clearly states is a different price - ordered General Tao Chicken and it says $12.50 in the menu I took from the restaurant, front desk girl charges me $16.00. Ordered two chicken corn soups, received one. Driving all the way from Mount Albert to Aurora just to get this food, and by the time I get home it's too late to go back because of incorrect charges or food items not inside as they should be. On top of all that, all the food items are filled with onions and onions...cheapest vegetable to make you look like you're getting your money's worth. Front desk girl has a bad attitude as well on the phone and in person and clearly doesn't want to be there supporting her parents family business.
Great food, but best of all they let you build your own family dinner. Ive always looked for that but it's rare to find. Definitely coming back
Hong Kong Kitchen has been around in Newmarket for many years and hopefully it stays that way. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is always fresh and good. The Dinner for 4 is a popular combo and well worth for being under $30.
