I hadn’t been here before because I rarely have an opportunity to go out for breakfast but this morning I had a craving for a bacon and egg sandwich so decided to give them a try. I called and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I didn’t ask the price, I figured it would be 8 or 9 bucks. When I showed up to pick it up I was shocked when the gave the price of almost 14 dollars. I blamed myself for not asking first, paid my bill (even left a tip) took my sandwich and headed out. 5 mins later I open the sandwich to find…egg, cheese, and mystery meat. Definitely not bacon. I figured I had paid for it so I might as well try it. I tried to take a bite but it all fell apart with some of my mystery meat ending up on the floor of my car. The meat turned out to be a gristly piece of steak. Not meant for a sandwich regardless. Lots of issues here today and maybe other people like it, but I won’t be going back
Very busy today as it was Family Day and there was only 1 waitress, Lisa, working. She did a great job managing all the tables and everyone was very patient. To me, the food was standard; nothing wow, but nothing bad either. My husband really enjoyed his English omelet while I had 3 eggs with bacon.I am concerned with ventilation as I could smell something burnt when I walked in and throughout eating. Their stove is in front of the seating area and their toaster was constantly on/heating. I could hear their fan on though.

Had breakfast with mom today. The waitress Josie was great and multitasking to say the least. First time showing proof of vaccination and ID to eat in at a restaurant.Food was hot and served fast. Rest little place, especially if you get the early bird breakfast!

Fast, friendly service. Always an excellent breakfast for an excellent price. They also have the best coffee of any of the breakfast places in Newmarket.
Ordered Eggs Benny for 15 buck got 2 eggs and 2 pieces of peameal. Complete rip off. Young and Mulock way better and better quality. Get 3 eggs and 3 pieces of peameal. Waste of money. Also after calling to complain was advised this is just a Daybreak in name only. Not affiliated with the Daybreak Chain. Explains alot. Will not be giving them the option to rip me off again. Bye Felicia, Stop ripping of Newmarket folks. Shame on you. Go to Yonge and Mulock!!! Best One by far
