decent prices for decent pastries. there are a few that i love but the rest are usually hit or miss - either too sweet, too dry, too flimsy, or just the strangest flavor combination. overall quality seems to have decreased in the last 2 years because i used to be addicted to them, but now i only stop by for my favorites if i'm at the mall. make sure to get served with the younger employees - they're always great and i love chatting with them, but the older ones/management are just horrible.
I really like their pastries and been going there ever since they opened up at UCM, but recently they increase the prices of their pastries including the one I really like the chocolate roulade is $4.25 now for a tiny pieces, it’s used to be $3.50 a pieces and very reasonable slices before. I bought the grete Garbo it’s $2.25/cookie and before was $1.75Their pastries are so expensive now. Won’t go there anymore.
Bought a cinnamon bun. Pretty disappointing. Hardly any cinnamon, pretty much no icing. It was just a bun. Not going back there.
Real Danish pastry. Flaky cinnamony Wienerbroed, not the abomination they insist on calling a Danish pastry on this side of the Atlantic. Do yourself a favor and try the real thing. We just had a special order for a birthday. Everything perfect, ready for pickup before 9am as promised.
These pastries were tasty and buttery. Everything was flakey and heavy on the almond flavour. The best part was their 1$ coffee promotion that’s currently going on that pairs perfectly with these pastries!
One of the worst customer service. Everytime I go, the Asian lady who works there just give me attitude. One time she just ignored me when I wanted to order, pretending she was busy. Honestly not coming to this location again when you get treated like that. The pastries are not that fresh anymore either. It's a shame.
Every time I enter the mall, this place is either my first or last stop. The lattes are amazing and so are their cappuccinos. I'm slowly working my way through all their pastries. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the chocolate roulade. They used to be soft fresh and just mind blowing, but lately they've been dry and just unappetizing
Great treats and amazing selection. Unfortunately the reason for a 3 is don't go in the store at 6:50 on a Friday when they close at 7. They are in such a rush to get out. I ordered 4 pieces of cake and the girl that was serving me was tossing them in bags. When I asked her to put them in a box she gave me a puff. I then looked at her and said when you pay 4.80 for a piece of cake you don't want the top of it sticking to the bag. I didn't think I was that unreasonable but the attitude was brutal. This employee needs to learn what goes in small donut bags and what goes in a box.
