This has to be, without doubt, the most inept DQ I have ever been too. If you are out of a certain topping, why not get one of your student employees to put a sign up in the Drive thru area so we do NOT have to wait in a line up for over 30 minutes only to find out that you are out of the flavour my daughter wanted the most. It is not Rocket Science. Asked the lady at the Drive Thru for a receipt and she closed the window in my face. This is just unacceptable. Your location sucks. And your staff need some lessons in Customer Service and by the way, tell your Employees to wear a mask.
Worst experience .The entrance to the lower section was not blocked of properly so me and my husband sat there to enjoy the sun and good food . But a cashier/server came and spoke in an extremely rude and loud tone that "Guys this section was closed how did you do down and sit there , next time look at the other side If it's blocked don't go down, only because I would have to clean the area again. I don't get the purpose of speaking so rudely , weather it was racism or Meer lack of etiquette. First of the area was not blocked and second of all there was no sign that defined clearly that the area was closed. The whole idea of eating out and relaxing was spoiled. Zero star is what I will give
I have been coming to this Dairy Queen for many years when they first opened up. Quite happy with the service and products they have hereIn the past I always ordered the box of ice cream sandwiches as well as the cakes here. They are always high quality and delicious. Their ice cream is always more tastier than McDonalds and they have a wider range of products here.Staff here have always been quick, professional and very hard working. They are always polite when I visit
My daughter asked me to get myself a dinosaur icecream cake because she knows dq cakes are my favourite. Very last minute but I came in to the store and the kind lady at the cash, Colleen, said the cake decorator just came in and they would make my daughter's birthday wish for me come true. The cake decorator even came out to ask what colours and how they could make her gift to me extra special. So kind of them.
Drive thru service was slow.. waited for quite some time. But got the shake from them n blizzard. Both were good
So despite the relations team responding to a similar review the coupon issue is still a problem. My bf came and picked me up and then picked my father up so we could have a cheap eat out night for Taco Monday. When Taco Bell was closed we decided to try here since we'd received coupons recently. Turns out you get penalized for trying to buy food with someone you know. Even though we had separate bills and separate coupons because we came in together we couldn't use more than one. So much for our cheap treat night. The coupons literally say "one per customer." It's also obvious that the staff are getting pressured by their managers about it. Not impressed.I've never received Dairy Queen coupons before, obviously they're trying to drive business to their store during a season where they would typically see less, they should consider the customer's experience when they get them there. Times are tough all over.
Ordered the new steakhouse triplecombo with a large fry and a blizzard.Blizzard was okay at best. They gave me a small fry and my triple burger was a single. No sauce nothing. They charged me for a triple. And a large fry and didn't give me a receipt in the bag.When I went back the guy in the back laughed at me and said I get what he gives me and left.The ladies up front were very good and very friendly.The burger was burnt and tasted like it was on the floor Aswell with cold. Fries.
When I arrived our cake order was not ready and they immediately found a solution. Made the cake even extra special. Thank you for your patience while I had a meltdown in advance of my 3 years old not getting his dinosaur cake.
I love Dairy Queen. When they say in their slogan it's good food not fast food they mean it. It can take 10+ minutes to get your food. I got the Strawberry Shortcake flurry and it was amazing I'm not a big fan of chocolate so it's one of the only ones I can get but it's perfectly fine. They rarely mess up food they've only ever messed up my drink once by putting coffee in my hot chocolate oh, but they gave me a new one ???
Slower service but given current conditions (covid lockdown) that's understandable.Good food. One of the better poutines. Really hot, and not greasy. Curds weren't squeaky but still nicely melted and tasty.
