Amazing Caribbean food, was looking for quick spot for dinner and stumbled here. Nice and friendly staff who cook some fantastic food, I would highly recommend the Caribbean Chicken Combo.
Singapore noodles. I know most of the best places between Durham Region and Guelph, that serve this particular dish. It is my favorite noodle dish.I am willing to give the Singapore at Caribbean St. Grill my vote as THE best for their cooking, ingredients, curry flavour and value of all my favorite places.Large pieces of bbq pork, shrimp, green pepper, egg and onion. Bold curry seasoning. Always served hot and a decent size portion, too. Please order this on your next visit and see if you agree with me. If not, then please tell me the place you know of that is better. I think you will agree, this is the best.PS: you will be offered their own house made hot sauce. Take it. Great place for takeout Chinese food. Some good things on the menu are spicy Basa fish and Caribbean chicken - never disappoint. Overall good place for family and solo takeou meals.
Combo 5: big portion. The Caribbean chicken was tender & juicy & a good cut. It was lightly breaded - not crispy, but tossed in a spicy, pretty tasty sauce.
Combo 5: fried rice had a good wok flavour with some big chunks of BBQ chicken (char siew). The rice was slightly spicy. You can't mix rice & noodles but the rice was freshly cooked so that's fine.
The chicken wings came as 10 pieces & were pretty good. They had a very light batter which was crispy & they were juicy & tasty.
Despite the name it's run by Cantonese-speaking East Asians. It's mostly Chinese food with a few Caribbean dishes. There's a deal for 2 lobsters/crabs for $28.95. There's a 10% cash discount
