Just had the opportunity to try today. Had the carne mechada arepa. Wow. So flavourful and juicy! FULL of deliciousness. Be careful, so full and delicious it could be a little messy, but it'd be worth it! I'll update after I've tried the Dulce de leche churros!
Wonderful restaurant. Hubby and I have had lunch there a few times and always amazing. My favourite is the chicken pantacone and hubby loves the beef soup. Food is flavourful. Soup is packed full of beef, plantains and corn. So yummy on a cold winter's day. Servings are large and I had to take half of mine home for my dinner. We tried the chicken, Columbian and beef empanadas this time as well. Also wonderful. What a great find in Newmarket. :) We will be back
The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Food is great. Clean! The tres leches cake with a cup of Colombian coffee is to die for!!! Lots of interesting savory and sweet foods to try, and some frozen foods like tamales if you want to prepare something at home. Also a selection of fruit juices from South America! Very good!!!

Fantastic first experience with Columbian and Venezuelan food. So flavourful and filling without being heavy. We enjoyed the empanadas and arepas we ordered for lunch and look forward to returning to try more items. Will order extra sauces next time... so good!
Ordered Arepas and empanadas last night and was very impressed. The Pabellon Arepa was super tasty and the plantain was fried exactly as it should be. Also ordered the Colombian and Flank Steak Empanadas and they were one of the best I've ever had. Very authentic and so glad it's located so close to home. Will definitely return to try the other items on the menu.
The food was AMAZING. They had the best arepa rellena I have ever had and the service was quick but friendly.
